I looked at a bunch before deciding to order this laptop tray. I use it for a wireless keyboard and mouse surface for interacting with my htpc from the couch. It is comfortable enough though the bottom edge can be sharp in spots. Also, mine is slightly convex so my keyboard doesn't sit flatand wobbles when i type. This also causes the mouse to slide constantly.With these problems, I am being very generous giving it 3 stars but it does have some nice features like the wrist cushions, raised keyboard stop at the bottom and non-slip mouse pad.

I ordered this item with a few questions floating in my mind as to "will my iPad fit that croove and hold it steady?", "is the space between groove and bottom too slippery to hold my keyboard in place?" ... you know, usual questions like that. Well, got the answers: yes and yes and actually better thn I thought the product would be ... it is that. Soft where it should be, groove definitely holds iPad either up or sideways, and my keyboard stays in place nicely. Honestly, I am a bit surprised that the product is made as well as it is for the money. Doesn't happen too often anymore.

I think you have to keep in mind that this product was very reasonably priced. So for the price, I give it 4 stars. Just don't expect it to compare with the more expensive options. I have a MacBook Pro which fits on it just fine. The padding underneath is very comfortable. My computer does not heat up while on my lap with this product, so apparently the ventilation is good. However, my computer slides right off of it if it's at a tilt. I have little rubber feet on my computer but it doesn't seem to make a difference. The little lip at the bottom of the desk does not stop the slipping for whatever reason. This isn't a problem for me because generally the desk sits flat on my lap, but if you use your desk at a tilt, your computer may slide.

Nice styling but too small for my 15.6" laptop which hung over the edges and made it very uncomfortable to use. I would say if you are using it for a tablet or smaller (up to 13.3" laptop, it would be fine. If you are getting it for a 15" or larger laptop, I would not recommend it at all. The description said width which was larger than my laptop so should have worked but the rounded edges make it not fit like you would think.

I like the size. I sit in my recliner with my iPad, and my hands got tired of holding it, what a relief it is to have this on my lap.I can’t use the slot with the Speck case on my iPad, but I will figure it out.I play word games a lot, and I am happy to no longer hold the iPad.I think I will buy another for the car.I just received it today, and it is just what I needed.I think I will also like it for reading.I am very satisfied with this purchase.***perhaps someone can tell what case they use on an iPad Pro, if they have one that will fit in the slot.

Got this because of the slot at the top. Hoped it would fit the new 8 cell battery I got for my Dell Inspiron. It doesn't BUT the battery hangs enough to keep the laptop from sliding around. The battery protrusion was uncomfortable and this solved that problem. I can move the laptop to the side enough to be able to use the mouse on the hard platform. High marks for this at a reasonable price. It arrived day after ordering.

I was looking for a way to keep my tablet off my lap when I'm working and I am so happy that I bought this one.The quality of the lapdesk is excellent. It holds my tablet securely and it's lightweight on my lap. It seems pretty durable and ergonomic. The cushioned pad makes it extra comfy in my lap.My wife and I are going on a trip across the country soon for 6 week and you can bet this will be packed along with our stuff!Overall a fantastic buy and I would (and have already) recommend it for anyone.

Very comfortable! I love the no-slip grip for the phone. Extremely convenient! My dad likes to sit on his bed while paying the bills and doing paper work with his iPad and iPhone so this was perfect for him. The cushion underneath is also a great touch! Definitely recommend.
