Growing up, my family owned a fishing station on the east end of Long Island. The only knives we sold for cleaning and fileting fish were Dexters. Back then they had wooden handles....I still have several in my knife drawer and they continue to be my favorite knives. Super love the new synthetic handles and the blades have the same quality as the old ones......easily take on new edges when needed and stay sharp. NOTHING LIKE A DEXTER!!!!

Very sharp right out of the box well made grip is ergonomic & comfortable performance is excellent like a razor.would highly recommend this product
