Homemade healthy mango smoothies with 2 ingredients instead of 10 or 15…
Yes, with this organic dried mango you will be able to make your own homemade healthy smoothies with only two ingredients instead of 10 or 15 (half of them chemicals!) in industrial juices. But first of all I must warn you: this review contains more than 250 characters… If you can read more than 250 characters (some of my younger students from FIU were so used to their short tweets that they fainted when they had to read a whole page!) keep on reading and your health will be grateful to you. Ever since I read (twice) the 423 pages of « The Blood Sugar Solution » by Dr. MARK HYMAN (bought in Amazon a few years ago) and stopped consuming poisoned industrial food, I lost 55 pounds and went down from size 42 to size 34 in pants just by following Dr. Hyman’s advice: “EAT FOOD WITHOUT LABELS” Now I make my own bread (with a small bread machine bought in Amazon) with only 4 ingredients instead of 10 or 15 for industrial breads: 3 cups of flour, 2 tablespoons of virgin olive oil, first cold press, 2 teaspoons of yeast and 1 teaspoon of sea salt. Plus 1 cup of water to mix everything. But sometimes I mix with whole milk instead of water. I also make my own strawberries jam with only 3 ingredients: 2 pounds of strawberries without the stem, 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 or 2 tablespoons of pure homemade lemon juice for the conservation. Following the same principle, I make my own MANGO SMOOTHIES with ONLY TWO INGREDIENTS: I put 20 to 25 grams of organic dried mango to marinate during a couple of days in the refrigerator in a glass jar (NO poisoning plastic!) with 1 cup of 100% pure coconut water: whether IBERIA (Amazon), ZICO (Publix) or whatever brand sells for under $3.50 per liter (33.8 fl. Oz), provided it has ONLY ONE INGREDIENT: 100% pure coconut water. NO artificial color, NO artificial flavor, NO “natural” flavor (which is everything but natural!) and, most of all, NO HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, that Dr. Hyman calls a “METABOLIC POISON” and that our immaculate Industrials put everywhere, even in tonic water! I always have 3 glass jars in the refrigerator containing 1 cup of coconut water and 20 to 25 grams of dried mango in each, ready to go. But if you are a heavy drinker you can double the doses and put 2 cups of coconut water and between 40 to 50 grams of dried mango in a bigger glass jar. Some almond butter brands (in glass jars please!) contain precisely 2 cups of liquid. Again, ALWAYS AVOID POISONING PLASTIC containers! THIS ORGANIC DRIED MANGO comes in flat slices, but after a couple of days in the refrigerator marinating in coconut water you will see the mango slices swell and you will be able to eat them as you would do with the fresh fruit, without the trouble of peeling it. WARNING: I tried to grind some dried mango slices in a small, cheap 1 cup “food processor” but they blocked the machine because they are soft and I had to throw it away and buy a new, bigger food processor. But once they swell in coconut water there will be no problem at all. I also follow the same procedure with Terrasoul organic DRIED APRICOTS that I also buy from Amazon: here I put 7 dried apricots in a cup of 100% pure coconut water for a couple of days in the refrigerator, then I mix it in my old Osterizer that I bought in Miami in July… 1974. Yes, my Osterizer is still working after 45 years. But it is true that in those days they were made in the USA… Until our industrials realized that people were only buying one unit in a lifetime and started making more ephemeral machines at the other end of the world! I am now about to replace my second Chinese Oster toaster oven since I moved to this apartment 14 years ago, and I’m waiting for Black Friday in order to buy the fourth bread toaster, also in 14 years. By the way, I notice that Osterizer shortened the name since 1974, together with the life expectancy… When making APRICOT SMOOTHIES I add a THIRD INGREDIENT: 2 tablespoons of ground almonds that I buy raw (containing only ONE ingredient!) and toast them in the small Oster oven, then grind them in the Oster food processor. Sometimes I put ground pecans or walnuts, whichever is on sale at that time, provided there is only ONE ingredient in them. Another recipe that I do every week for my Sunday Bacardi long drink is a COCONUT AND PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE. Here I put 2 slices of pineapple (you can get 12 cans for $12 from Amazon, unless you opt for the more expensive organic cans) directly into the mixer with 1 cup of coconut water and nothing else. Then I pour the pineapple smoothie into a little bit of rum (always in moderation!) with 2 tablespoons of homemade sugar cane syrup (I put 1 part of water + 1 part of brown sugar, boil it for a couple of minutes then I bottle it) and 1 teaspoon of homemade lemon juice. I also make BANANA SMOOTHIES with one fresh banana cut in slices and one cup of 100% coconut water. The procedure will be the same for CANTALOUPE (when I can get them at $1 a piece…) or PAPAYA (at 2 pounds for $1…): one cup of fruit + one cup of 100% coconut water and nothing else! WARNING: while you may keep your mango, apricot, pineapple, cantaloupe or papaya smoothies during several days in the refrigerator, you must drink the banana one immediately because it will oxidize and take the color of a light chocolate milk shake in just a few minutes. However, I drank it the following day without any health problem but the dark color may be repulsive to some folks, who might fear health problems. In short, the possibilities are infinite and limited only by your own taste. Now, if you managed to read so far without fainting like my younger students from FIU, let me be the first one to congratulate you: this means you can read a whole book like Dr. Hyman's! Follow Dr. Hyman’s advice: STOP EATING INDUSTRIAL FOOD POISONED BY CHEMICALS, EAT FOOD WITHOUT LABELS and you will see how well you will feel without chemical “slimming pills”, without exhausting aerobics and without difficult diets.

Bad quality- Bad batch(es)?
I'm so displeased with the quality of dried mango I've received from TerraSoul (which is why I won't try other products from the line) The first batch of dried mango I received a long time ago was thick, juicy full slices - beautiful orange and some a little dark. It was the kind of quality you would think about gifting or offering another person. Since then the next few batches were far from that quality , they are short piece shavings just thrown into a bag - often white palish in color and even look like they may be sprinkled with sugar. I can't believe the brand ships this quality product to customers for such a price - what a rip-off. I rather go with a much more stable company that ships batches of consistent quality. I'm quite appalled that this can pass quality control. Just because a company is capable of sourcing sometimes doesn't even mean it's their product. Maybe this is the shwagg of another company- who can tell?!

the seller refunded the purchase price after I received a bag with below-average flavor
This was the first time I tried this product. When it arrived, I was a bit disappointed in the below-average flavor. Great Value Unsweetened Dried Mango is cheaper and has a better flavor, although it's not organic. When I left a mediocre review with the preceding comments, Terrasoul contacted me to apologize for the issue with the product quality and refunded the purchase price. I updated my rating and review to reflect the excellent customer service.

Just plain OK... no wow factor.
Meh... The Bad.... Found it to be too dehydrated and hard to chew. After about half a bag of chewing like a cow I gave up!. The Good... Nice mango flavor. Liked the no added sugar. Recommended if you like chewing.

Great Low Sugar Option
This is I believe the lowest natural sugar option anywhere for dried Mango slices. They tase great and satisfy the Sweet craving. For people who are diabetic or have sugar restrictions these are perfect. Actually they’re great for everyone because of low sugar . Just wish they’d list what they considered a serving when writing/listing the actual ingredients and sugar content . Thank you n please list the serving size buy ounces / pieces Also I’d like to mention that my other choice having the lowest sugar after Terrasoul was the Anna and Sarah brand and they are a great choice as well ,they taste great have great texture and are lower than most here for sugar content except Terrasoul. And even better both brands can be purchased in 2/3 pound packages. But I did find Anna and Sara first and they are great as well but when I found Terrasoul being diabetic I had to try them . And they won having less sugar . Terrasoul super foods dried Mango slices and they are my new go to replacement . I have diabetes and these are my go to snack when I’m looking for something a little more or on my cheat day. They have great flavor, texture and are nice and chewy. The flavor is great a little tart and sweet. These fill the sweet void and don’t seem to raise my sugar up too much as long as I don’t over indulge. But these are both satisfying products wether you purchase Anna and Sarah with low sugar or Terrasoul with even lower sugar content. Have to pick my poison so lower Terrasoul it is . You’ll love them both !

Not the same quality as it used to be - disappointing
I have been a fan of Terrasoul dried mango for a while enough so that I had a subscription so I never ran out. The last few orders I've felt th quality of the product has changed. No longer are their strips or orange mango, but bits and pieces of often dark colors fruit. The flavor and texture is different. Perhaps the supplier of the mango has changed?
