Wonderful Device - Fits 2015 Nissan Murano Fine
After I broke my right knee cap I worried about how I was going to be able to drive. I already had drop foot on the right, so I was already having difficulty driving. I found this on Amazon and it has been a lifesaver! I had no Idea that such a device existed till I searched Amazon. My husband was able to install it pretty easily on my Nissan Murano. It is not permanently installed, and he used some extra duck tape to keep it from moving around. It allows me to drive with my left foot, and easily snaps in and out so my husband can still drive the car as well. I was already using my left foot for breaking for several years, so it did not take me very long to get used to it. I have been using it for 4 months now with no issues.

Great item
It is very sturdy and it works very well. I have 45 years in the automotive field and I had some issues getting it lined up right but in all fairness I have a five pound C.R.O. boot on my foot and can't move very well under the dash board. That being said I would ask for help if you don't have auto knowledge. It is not real hard to put together anyone who builds things or fixes things can do it. The product is great and it got me driving again but it takes some time to get use to. Try it out on a back road or empty parking lot before you get on the interstate or in the five a clock traffic.

Perfect solution
First let me say you really need to follow the manufacturers directions and if you’re not handy, you’ll need someone who is to make necessary adjustments so it fits correctly with proper spacing in your vehicle. That said, it took me about 30 mins with repeated trial fitment to get it adjusted correctly. Also note that bolts are provided for permanent install if desired but unnecessary if using the portable option with base plate. Installation instructions are sparse so you have to figure it out on your own. Once adjusted and installed, it worked well and I’ve been driving with it for 2 days. The base unit is a few inches under my brake pedal so I feel it when I brake with my left foot, which is a bit awkward but not a problem. The Velcro that’s affixed under the heavy baseplate doesn’t grab well on the carpet but the entire unit is heavy enough, plus the nature of pressure on it is such, that the Velcro isn’t highly necessary at least in my case. You will take some time to adjust to using your left foot so critical to practice someplace safe first like an empty parking lot. I took to it quickly but I also have driven stick shifts for over 30 years so I’m used to using left foot to operate pedals. Overall a great solution for me as a result of tearing my right Achilles’ tendon and dreading the thought of not being able to drive for up to 2 months...I needed a viable option and this was it.

Does not fit many cars! No EVS or Hybrids!
The description is, unfortunately, vague regarding what cars this will work on. It does not work on my Toyota RAV4 prime. I’ve been informed it is not recommended for any electric or hybrid vehicles. In fact, mechanical left foot accelerators are specifically not recommended for this these type of cars, they need an electronic left foot accelerator professionally installed.Nowhere on this products website, do they give you any guidance about whether it will work in your car, and I think that’s really unfortunate. It clearly seems to work best if your accelerator comes down from the top instead of being hinged to the floor. So take a look at that first before you buy this option.

Works Perfectly!
I used to be a mechanic until I was hit by a car in December and lost my right leg above the knee.. This left foot gas pedal got me driving again and out of the house! It was easy to set up and I love that it's portable, my main car is a lease so I didn't want to drill holes in the floorboard and this made it so I didn't have to. I can easily move this from each of my vehicles and it works perfectly once you get it properly adjusted. Thank you for making such a great reliable product and giving me my freedom back!

I love my acceleration adapter
My son and I installed the unit , of course he use to install units like this before , with his help we had it installed in a half hour . I love it so far , very heavy duty , easy to adjust to fit my 2004 Buick . I bought the more expensive unit , much better quality .. I would buy again , highly recommend

Fantastic
This is been a lifesaver for me after my injury. In my state of Florida, it works great and has given me the ability to use the car again. I was required to take a driving test and get a special notation on my license. Also, I should add that I got this installed by 1 of the recommended installers here in Tampa. However, they did a shoddy job and did not connect the 2 pieces properly. Scarily, I was in the middle of driving on the 1st day and it fell into 2 parts! Thankfully I was not on the highway and was able to pull over by gliding into a parking lot and so I was not injured. But it did scare me. After that, I read the entire set of instructions and realize that there was a step that they had skipped where they are supposed to use a mallet and gently force 2 pieces together. Once I did that I had no problems. So be careful of who you use and always double check. But the product itself has been great.

Able Motion Portable Left Foot Pedal
This is being used in a Nissan Frontier (2018) pick-up truck. We did have to saw through the shaft to shorten it (left side) so that this would fit the floor board. This is due to the pick-up truck driver's side floor layout (built-in foot rest for left foot). This is a VERY strong/solid shaft and took some effort to cut. However, the foot pedal is working as advertised. We are very happy with this product.
