These are so smooth and the chimes inside are loud enough to enjoy but quiet enough that I don't have to feel like I'm going to disturb someone. I like that they're small enough for my little lady hands and that they come with a zippered pouch for easy transport. I had a little trouble with the zipper initially, but just needed to shift the zipper away from the fabric, so it would quit trying to stop the zipper from moving. I'm planning to take these with me when I travel, to help me relax. I'm going to have to check the TSA rules to see if these are going to cause a problem. I didn't think of that before now.

I got these to help rehab my right hand that is impaired due to Parkinson’s Disease. At the start I couldn’t move these balls in my afflicted hand (was able to rotate them using my good hand, albeit like a neophyte, which I am). I continued throughout the day trying with my afflicted hand with discouraging results. Yet, I tried again the very next morning and I am happy that I can say that I am rotating them clockwise consistently- however, very slowly. I am even working (now) on rotating the balls counter-clockwise.At first I was worried about the durability, having read some comments (here) after I ordered a pair. But, now I am not as I have dropped them multiple times and they are fine. I expect them to last…I got the 1” chrome (plated) chiming balls. They do grind ever so slightly when touching the other ball (when rotating them). This is not a big deal for me and I understand that in more advanced practice the balls should not touch one another as they are rotated in the (single) hand.As far as the sound, I am no where near the level of proficiency to smoothly work these balls in neither my afflicted nor good hand; however, rolling them in my good hand (like dice) makes a consistent and very appreciable chime. I expect that they will sound awesome once I reach a high enough level of proficiency.

These are *TERRIBLE* they are "Jingle-Balls" --- They are *HOLLOW* --- They make an incredibly *ANNOYING* "Boing-Noise" --- They are not solid boading balls.

They were poor quality. Rough / sharp points on the surface, and did not chime. Not at all pleasurable to roll around in your hand. I returned them. At least the company was decent about taking the return and giving me a refund, hence the 2 stars although I’d have rated the product only one star.
