His hair is coming back from the dead.
So some story time folks...I bought this for my other half, and he is having some pretty intense skin issues. Plus his scalp is in need of help that has made doctors throw up their hands. He's used a lot of products but wants more natural things. I personally make body products because of this, and they just were not cutting it for him or are frankly too expensive to gather all the things for a quality product (read not a cheating crappy castile hybrid recipe to make shampoo, real shampoo formulas are more scientific than I really care to get into.) I use cedar oil instead of tea tree because it has the same properties, without the reactions I get from tea tree. I did read the label and saw this does have tea tree, which was a disappointment for me, but it is gentle enough to quickly use a small bit on my roots only. I have extreme sensitive skin, so I can't use the residue suds to wash the rest of my body. It did okay on my cheeks, which means it hits in my category for safe enough on skin. He doesn't get reactions to it, but it helps his face a tiny bit when he rinses and it goes on it. I am blonde with damaged waist long fine hair so this is not for me. He has brown hair to his ears that used to be slightly curled but has gone flat, with little body, and its oily with snow fields of dander and scales. So we need different products pretty much. Since he started using this he has been also working out, plus better diet, and nice boar brush... so its a combo and not all due to shampoo but the shampoo is a key point. His hair started to look healthy, he had some bounce come back. The flakes are not totally gone, but its much better, and his cradle cap style issues are not as scaled. If he was more routine with the hair products, I think he might not have flakes at all. I also get the sort of cradle cap thing which is common for blondes and I boil our brushes separate ect, but he still uses my brush out of lazy and maybe if he would stop finding where I hide it, the shampoo would do even better. (Don't share brushes folks lol, wash em too) It works much better than the prescribed stuff, or the cheap drug/grocery stuff, and it works better than my diy remedies (which work for everything else for me) but the key is he will use it XD He's really concerned about using something medicated too long, and some chemical smells give him anxiety, or make him distrustful. Since I am always using cedar, he knows its smell and properties, plus it has a nice unisex smell. Its the most I have seen him wash his hair with one product. I am pretty much sold and plan to reup when its low. The size of the bottle is fair, I would like one larger if it was for my hair. I need a jug of product, and he can be fine for months with this sized bottle. As I said, I have hair down to my waist. This would be gone much faster if I was doing full root cleaning... and since its mostly for him, I only used a tiny bit for two weeks to see if I would get a reaction. It did make my hair feel pretty good too, but it was a bit not so great for the dryness and I do not have dander issues. Still it gave a great shine, and took off the blonde root protection oil layer pretty well but my hair felt tangled when I worked it in, and I would pass for myself.

This stuff is awesome and works exactly as advertised!
I have a really bad outbreak of seborrheic dermatitis that I’ve been trying to recover from for almost a year now. To make matters worse, my incredibly sensitive scalp also has an allergic reaction to any oil except tea tree oil. I have parts of my crown that are thinning and patchy because of how bad this recent flare up has been, and this shampoo is the only saving grace for me. I’ve only been usingnit every two to three days for the last week, and my scalp already looks better. I’ll post some before / after pictures after about a month to show improvement, but right now I can already tell the difference. My scalp isn’t smelling like a ‘sick’ scalp anymore (I have an extremely acute sense of smell), and it’s starting to get rid of the overgrowth of fungus. It’s even starting to stop itching when my hair dries. It used to always be itchy unless I had just washed it. They weren’t lying when they said pH balancing; I can literally feel it balancing the overgrowth of fungi on my skin, and it’s awesome. Not to mention it’s hydrating enough for my hair to use alone without shampoo (I’m black and have afro textured hair that is currently in locs), which is saying something since my hair is usually dry prone. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna be ordering this shampoo until it goes off the market. 😂 10/10 would buy AND suggest to someone else. I’ll leave another review once my mom uses it. She has pretty intense dandruff, with flakes that can be anywhere from 1/8 to 1/4 of a centimeter. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

NICE & NATURAL!
So far I love this shampoo. I have used it two times I'm not sure if it has decreased my hair fall or not. It seemed to me that I lost less hair both times after my shower but I'm not 100% sure. I'm happy that it hasn't caused any damage to my scalp and hair!! I also feel like that after I use this shampoo my hair feels softer and straighter. It doesn't leave my hair to dry like other shampoos. I don't even put oil on my scalp and hair before and it still doesn't leave my hair dry!! I also feel good that the shampoo is made out of mostly natural ingredients. I also love the smell of it :)

It’s shampoo, not conditioner
Advertising seems misleading. I thought I was buying conditioner and discovered it was shampoo upon arrival. Smells good and washes well but can’t tell the overall effectiveness after a few weeks of use. Still is better than the heavy chemical commercial shampoos. I don’t mind using it.

Excellent shampoo for hair buildup
Love this shampoo! I am not a girly girl and don't really have a deep understanding of hair products. I go with what is affordable. But when I went to get my hair cut, the hairdresser pointed out that I had a lot of build up in my hair. I bought this Maple shampoo just based on the reviews here and its description. I could not be more pleased. Within a week all of the excess build up in my hair was gone. Even in the winter it doesn't get as frizzy and it feels cleaner and lighter. It does have a slight mint scent, so if you like mint you will love it but if you don't like mint you may not want this shampoo. But I would recommend another Maple product even if you are not interested in the clarifying shampoo.

Best shampoo ever
Dude !!!! This shampoo!!! my hair looks freaking glorious!! my hair has never looked better. It's not dry anymore. I have a pretty good head of hair and it was falling out not like I was going bald I was just always seeing strands of hair falling out and it was always dry. My hair feels thicker softer smell smells good. This is worth every dollar.

My boyfriend has a dry scalp and after looking up shampoo/conditioner options, I was looking forward to this as it got a lot of good reviews. He tried it for a month now, but it didn’t help much with his dry scalp. I guess it didn’t work with his skin. This item was shipped from their warehouse (not amazon prime), fast shipping and arrived in about 10 days to Toronto. Much appreciated.

Is you have a dry scalp, dont use this product. Tea tree is wonderful aajd has many gr tea at uses, but it has a tendency to dry out your skin. Use warm coconut oil or caster oil!
