Wonderful patterns to suit all knitters
I've had this book for a couple of years now and have knitted three of the shawls in it. My absolute favourite is the Red Rosey Wrap which I have knitted at least 5 times for friends as gifts. Well written with written instructions. An excellent book.

Useful book for all levels of knitting
This book is great for beginners and the more experienced knitter. I like the fact that there are ideas for all seasons using a range of materials and thicknesses of Yarns. If you are keen on trying different techniques there is something for everyone, Lace, Brioche, Garter and Stocking Stitch. With the advent of recycling and using up resources there are several projects where one could use your built up stash, which is great. It would also be easy to substitute variegated Yarns for plain ones and vice versa. All instructions are clear and the photos entice one to try out a number of projects. There are also technical explanations to help perfect the pattern. An extra thoughtfulness is the Make it yours with ideas to customise your own project.I would recommend this book to all shawl lovers.

Shawls, wraps and scarves
I had the original version but it was not returned by someone who borrowed it. This is different and improved I think.

Lovely patterns
Beautiful shawls from practical/warm granny to glamorous and floaty. Can’t wait to get started. Especially useful with the price of electricity!

Best pattern on cover
Quite basic knitting. Would only bother with the cover design, which is not unusualThought in 35 patterns there might be a hooded design. Unfortunately not.The price is reduced, likely due to some sort of residue, causing the bottom corners to stick when turning pages

I have elderly female relatives. So I got this book (just to raise my order above £20), I am an obesseive and skilled knitter, some of the designs are hard enough for me.

Best book for shawls, ponchos , cowls and wraps
This is definitely going to be my go-to book for knitted wraps, shawls and ponchos. A great variety of designs, from simple straight forward knits to intricate double sided lace numbers. My biggest problem is going to be which one to start with! I love the designs, lots of variety, wide variety of skill levels, all seasons (with ideas on how to change the patterns for more versatility throughout the year). I love knitting shawls and wraps because gauge, yarn choice and tension aren't quite as important as when knitting a vest or sweater. A shawl doesnt' have to 'fit', its a wrap, any size is good. So this book is right up my alley. Lots of handy hints throughout concerning yarn choice, color variations, etc. I know it is going to become my favorite.
