The BEST home for your jumping spider!
This enclosure is perfect. Strong magnetic, easy to use closures with zero gaps so no chance of your spider escaping. Very sturdy and well packaged. 100x better than the small plastic containers/enclosures that jumping spiders come in. Perfect size as well. Highly recommended.

Perfect for that in between size time
Perfect for when small is too small and medium is just a bit too big this one fits right in between that. Seems to be built well, the plastic is nice and thick and the trace slides out nicely, I'm just a little bit worried about airflow but we'll see. I think I would definitely recommend this it's the perfect size and good value for the money

It served its purpose
For anyone buying this for a jumping spider or smaller sized spiders beware, the holes on the sides are big enough for fruit fly's to easily climb out and into whatever room you have them stored in, I had to use rubber bands and pads to block the holes during feeding times to ensure they didn't get out. I suppose I created a work around it because I already had them and didn't feel like returning, on another note I did purchase x3 of these and for some odd reason x1 of them came out different than the other x2, the holes on the sides were lower and it seems it was just built slightly different than the other x2, very strange but I did notice this right away. In addition to this these cases have magnetics built into them which was helpful for x2 but oddly enough the x3 one I had didn't match up with the other x2, the magnetics in the 3rd one would deflect the other x2 cases no matter in what way I put them in order which was very sad as I wanted them all to connect perfectly. Overall they are serving there purpose which is to hold my jumping spiders but not without a workaround, if you have bigger spiders/bigger prey for them to eat then this case would be a 5 stars but for me personally it wasn't the best.

This is the one you are looking for
There are a lot of these on the market so it can be difficult to choose which one to get. There are several features that come together to make this the one.1. Solid construction (lids will sometimes stick while sliding if you don't line it up right). Some of them you have to put together and they stay together with large rubber bands. This one is together already and solid.2. Magnets. The lid and the cleaning drawer latch with rare earth magnets. Your creature will not push them open or scurry out. It's also satisfying to feel them click into place.3. Design. There is a lid for easy access to put in and take out landscaping and animals. There is also a drawer at the bottom to remove and clean things up. It's nice. Or, if you have a jumping spider, you can use this drawer for feeding as the spider will often have the web up top. There are also tiny holes for cross ventilation.4. Price. The price on this was better than others, especially true given the quality comparison.

bowed and limits it's use. Little ones could get out as the holes are bigger than the air holes.
It could be luck of the draw, but QC in my opinion for these 'pets' is so important. I opened mine yesterday. Fell in love with the enclosure and only noticed today in daylight the bowing and that does limit its use. If you happen to have a pregnant female and she slings, they're all coming out of this. The gap is wider than the air holes which is unfortunate.Really nice enclosure and you sure cannot beat the price, but I don't want to risk ordering another and seeing the same problem.Perfect for a jumper, but do pay attention to the drawer area to be safe if you buy one.

Nice overall, but has a gap and warps
I got this in 8x4x4 as a small terrarium for roly polies. Overall I think it was pretty nice. The construction is good quality and looks attractive. The magnets are strong and well placed. Closing/opening feels satisfying. The holes are small enough to keep critters in but large enough to ventilate (slightly smaller than 0.08 in or 2 mm). I like that they put the little triangle profile baffles along the drawer edge, so that if water were to drip along the walls, it would go inside the drawer and not between the drawer and the wall. Now the bad.First of all, if you are hoping to use the drawer for easy cleaning, keep in mind that this will only work with a certain soil level and if you don't have any tall objects. If you have plants in there, you cannot pull the drawer out. Obvious, I know, but I only realized it after buying. The drawer leaves a large gap above the handle. It's about 3-4 mm. My roly polies kept escaping through it until I noticed and taped it over. I put a few layers of aluminum foil and with basic sticky tape over it, reasoning that it will make sure they don't chew through the tape. The tape does look ugly and disturb the aesthetics of the terrarium. As a result, I think the drawer is a bit of a gimmick unless you have a very specific use in mind. This would have been much better if they did not have a drawer and just made the floor and 4 walls completely flush with each other.Second, the box warped over a few weeks. At first I noticed the lid being hard to slide and easily derailing. And no, I was always closing very gently, so it wasn't the derailing that made it warp. It was not exposed to extreme heat or direct sunlight. After about 2 weeks, I noticed that the walls are bulging outwards such that at the widest point (above the holes) there is a 3 mm gap between the lid and the wall (not including the rail). I think this was the saddest and most disappointing thing about this product. I could have lived with the drawer, but the gap on the lid is hard to forgive. Luckily my roly polies can't seem to climb walls, but I now have issues with moisture loss. (before warping it could easily hold 99% humidity in my 50% house)While on that topic, I think making the lid hinged would have been a better design. So in summary:* The drawer leaves a gap big enough for small insects to pass. Look for another product without it unless you really need the drawer.* The walls warp and leave a gap with the lid. Don't use for small climbing/flying insects.* Besides those two issues the quality is good. If they are okay for your application, I'd recommend this.

Great Enclosure!
I bought this product to house a jumping spider (P. Audax). So far, the enclosure is working great. The enclosure is secure all around and leaves no gaps or holes for the spider to escape. There are premade air holes on the sides of the enclosure to allow for cross ventilation. I love that I can open the enclosure from the top or bottom. This is especially helpful with aboral spiders. Overall, I would recommend this product.
