Does it have underwire?

Yes. I usually hate underwire bras. Didn't realize this had one but it really doesn't bother me. Seems lighter than underwires I have had before. I wouldn't buy it again but am keeping this one and using it comfortably.

Do the straps have adequate adjustment length to loosen and be tightened? Also, does the band stay in place with a lot of arm / waist movement?

We straps have adequate adjustment the underwires though do tend to cut in
