A Truly Insightful, informative and entertaining read
This book is a gem of knowledge about Rosicrucianism - a subject that I didn't know I needed to learn about until I read it! As it turns out it's absolutely fascinating and I think it's a 'must read' for all; whilst being informative it is also entertaining and enjoyable, and I found really eye opening. It is not a light read by any stretch but neither is it too heavy, it provides the perfect balance, but if you are interested in the subject of enlightenment, practice meditation/spiritualism and/or are on the path of self discovery it any guise or form, this book opens the doors brilliantly. It is a great introduction and just enough of a indepth overview study about Rosicrucianism without feeling laboured, it also offers guidance on suggested further reading and studying more about this and the other related topics and subjects related to this as you want to.

Excellent introduction to Rosicrucianism
This is an excellent book for anyone exploring Rosicrucianism for the first time. It provides a comprehensive overview of the key teachings and historical background along with a list of further resources. It could have done with more illustrations where concepts such as the tree of life and 22 paths are explained though.

The Ultimate Guide…
I had never heard of the Rosicrucian society before so was intrigued but didn’t quite know what to expect. This book was really interesting and I have learnt so much about how it and how it pulls parts of other religions and spirituality. To me Rosicrucian is fascinating but I can imagine others with certain beliefs would most definitely disapprove. Like all Mari’s books, this was an easy read so I definitely recommend it if you’re interested in spirituality and how different all the groups are.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another masterpiece by Mari Silva.
This Book is full of history information about Rosicrucianism. I was unaware of the existence of this philosophical movement. As and always Mari Silva, she writes clear and simple to understand. I'm glad I added this book to my library. I highly recommend it.

Caveat Emptor
It is always encouraging when a new publication comes along on the subject of Rosicrucianism, promising an introduction to the esoteric to the new seeker on the path.I had high hopes for this title, but unfortunately, it turned out to be fool’s gold. The author comes across in his sincerity in wanting to uncover the secrets of this organization but his research is so flawed and muddled concerning the origins of the contemporary groups that the rest of the book dealing with the Hermetica, Kabbalah, and rituals is hardly worth the effort.Contrary to the author’s assertions, H. Spencer Lewis, founder of AMORC, had absolutely no connection with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. His links were with the old Rose Croix of France. Furthermore, the author’s statements that” all of the literature that is used by the Rosicrucian Order seems to have been written by one individual who went by the name of Max Heindel” are totally ludicrous. Max Heindel founded the Rosicrucian Fellowship which was an outgrowth of a movement in Germany founded by Rudolph Steiner and focuses on Christian Theosophy and astrology. All of this casts a shadow on the rest of this book. The so-called pentagram and middle pillar rituals are like none I have ever encountered before and the allusions to a connection to Freemasonry further muddy the waters. It appears from the references, that this book was put together from online sources and scarcely mentions any of the classic works which contain real knowledge of the R+C. Many of these are available on Amazon.com.

Disappointing for anyone familiar with the order or western esotericism in general.
An extremely basic overview of rosicrucian magic, most of which could apply to western mysticism in general. This book does not contain any rituals, tools, or specifics, and anyone who is part of any magickal tradition or even has a moderate knowledge of magic, western mysticism, mystery schools, etc. Will likely gain very little from it.
