As we took turns sitting in the chair we found ourselves relaxing and drifting off to sleep. Much like a cocoon wrapped around a baby keeping them secure and safe you find yourself wishing you could stay there all day. I use to work doing brain study activities and worked with many children, using a papoose board to cradle in small children or babies. If you can envision that, you can imagine the comfort of this swing chair where you can while away the day in daydreams!The strong construction made of a soft polyester cotton rope will support even being used all day for hours at a time. It is portable and lightweight so anyone can install it. The hardwood spreader bar is 47” long, beautifully finished and would look nice in any room for decor.This means, if moving around from location to location there is not worry as it is perfect to set up outside on the deck or inside for a casual feel. You can even take it Camping and use a tree to hang it from!We love the beach and cant wait to take it there where we stay as it has a covered nation and large beams that can be used for hanging it on.With a generous seat size of between 30 to 40 inches and support of small children to robust adults how can anyone go wrong!I have not seen a weight limit for support but this is a stout swing and my husband at 5’10” weighing 250 pounds or myself at 5’4” and 138 pounds found ourselves completely confident we could sit in this chair for hours at a time. Being summer, my next thought was how this weave may scratch the skin as I am older and skin is thinner and fragile. NO PROBLEM whatsoever, as it is so soft! The Mocha is a rich color and so far it is not hot at all but believe it is from the open weave design. Our choice was to hang ours in the loft area we are working to turn into a play room/office so it makes an inviting break from the stresses of life. Literally, it can be hung anywhere!We plan to buy this chair for gifts at Christmas, home warming gifts, baby shower gifts and “just for me” gifts and in general a nice way to say We Care!Reviewing products is something I take seriously because we depend on others for their honest and unbiased opinions when we shop online which seems a daily affair on Amazon. These hammock chairs are colorful, sturdy and comfortable.

I got this swing for myself b/c I love to sit outside on nice days to read or watch the kids play. It ended up being a great find for the price & just what I needed. It can easily be strung up on a tree branch or used with a separate stand. It’s comfortable, durable, & so far has not faded. The pillows are ok, but hard to keep in place & may blow away if you live where there are strong winds. So, I’ve ended up just not using them most of the time.

I really do love the swing! Only thing I would change is the length. My knees hang over the edge if I’m stretched straight out. It is still comfortable but I’d prefer my whole body to be wrapped up like in the pictures. I can if my knees are bent kinda like sitting Indian style but then my whole who-ha area is smiling at anyone near 😅 I don’t use the bottom pillow which could be due to the difficulty of me tip toeing to get in the swing and not falling. Once I’m in the swing - don’t bother me I’m comfortable and relaxed. Plus note, my pup dog loves it too, she naps while sitting in my lap. Just buy it, for the price you can learn how to make it perfect like I did!

My first ever hammock. I didn't know they made hammocks that only require one point to hang from instead of two. I just hung it from my large maple tree and I'm enjoying my yard from a different view and with more comfort than I've ever enjoyed it. It is made of yarn basically and a very sturdy wooden rod that holds it all together. The wood is stained and finished so it does seem more like an indoor or enclosed patio piece. However, I hung it in my yard under a large maple tree with a vinyl tree swing strap. It is very cozy. I almost fell asleep the first time I sat on it. Just be aware that it's more like a hammock chair/recliner versus one that you can fully lay down in. Also I plan to bring it inside when I'm not using it so the cats and dogs don't make a toy out of it. The yarn looks like it could snag fairly easily since it's soft. Overall I'm very impressed. I think I found my new happy place. 💕

Great value, love it! Color not as vibrant as pictured. But, it'll do. Had to shorten it a bit.

The swing is not exactly what I had in mind. I thought that the seat part would be able to hang on the bar better. There are some small grooves it does, but it really just pops off of them very easily. My kids and I have both been sitting in them and moved slightly, and they just fall into the middle, and the seat comes apart. Very inconvenient. The actual material of the seat and the pillow is fine, but the design of it is not great.

My husband got this for me when he made several swings for me to hang from a tree! that was actually funny each time I tried one he made, I had trouble getting on or staying on at 72 I have some limitations. No limitations necessary for this! First time he hooked it up and adjusted heighth that was comfortable for me, I climbed in put my legs up and was swing in the breeze and actually fell asleep becasue it has pillows too. What can a girl ask for!. So happy he found this! Hope you enjoy yours tooo
