My friend was very excited when she opened her knife set. I also purchased a wooden magnetic knife stand. She was thrilled. Her husband sent me a text saying, she has .talked about them all day. I truly believe I got the perfect gift for her this year.

We have only used these knives a few times so far, but they were ordered to replace our very old knife set. These knives are very unique and beautiful. The blades themselves have very interesting designs on them, and the handles are well made - sturdy and durable. I opted for the wood handles after a few reviews stating the resin handles were having issues with cracks. The box arrived a little smushed from shipping, but the knives were well protected and intact. These knives are extremely sharp, and cut through anything like butter. You do have to handwash only, and make sure you dry extremely thoroughly to prevent rust stains. So, not as convenient if you prefer to throw things into the dishwasher. You also need to use a specific type of sharpening stone. It would be preferable if there was a knife block or some sort of storage, but we may purchase a magnetic knife strip or something to display them since they are so unique.

I love the fact that it is layered steel and that I now have an entire knife set like this. Love it

They are sharp but will rust if left over night with any liquid on them

These are some great knives. Sharper than expected. Finish on handles fade too soon but other than that they do the job.
