Cheap but good ND filter? Yep
I simply cannot afford an ND filter that does not change the tint of my video. I do use this primarily for video, but it does make for a great landscape still filter as well. I find that polarizing filters don't seem to tint my footage the way affordable ND filters do, so there you have it. ND on the cheap. I like this one.

Impressive!
On my first day out with this Polarizer, I went up to the top of a local hilltop to get shots of my home city to try it out. As I was adjusting the ring of the Polarizer, it fell off the front of my lens and went over the edge of a cliff, falling about forty feet into the rocks below. After climbing down to search for it, I expected to find a twisted disc of metal and several glass shards. Instead, I found my Polarizer, virtually unscratched! Aside from some dings on the metal frame, the glass was completely untouched. I was -extremely- satisfied with the durability of this Polarizer, and so far I've been able to see a significant and positive difference in picture quality when used.

Inexpensive way of experimenting with a circular polarizer
The Tiffen circular polarizer does what it's supposed to: darkening skies and suppressing reflections. If you've never used a polarizer, it may take some experimenting to figure out the ideal conditions for this to work. Image quality seems fine, with no noticeable vignetting on a 24mm (equivalent) lens. The only drawback of this very inexpensive polarizer is that it has very shallow threads that form a rather weak attachment to the lens. If, while adjusting the polarizer, you turn it clockwise (from the point of view of the photographer) it's likely to come off the lens. This make fine adjustment inconvenient. It's not a bad deal for $20, but if you use a polarizer a lot, you'll probably want something better.

Good bang for the buck filter.
Good bang for the buck filter. Glass is clear and build quality is better then I expected. Would definitely recommend.

My TIffen polarizer was a great filter, keeping out the nasty glare and protecting my lens. And then the kid dropped the camera out of the bag....BANG, right on the lens cap. As I pulled the cap off, I could see the filter was smashed, but did it protect the lens?? YES. Very happy customer here. The filter did its job both while filming, and to protect the lens of the camera during a fall. Very happy, and I've already ordered a replacement.

I like the variable contrast it allows.
I have not had this particular filter before, I usually get one to keep 'stuff' off my camera lens, but after using this one, and turned the filter while viewing through the camera at a cloudy sky, the colors changed, from an almost clear, to a better darker blue, giving me more contrast and removing some bright areas. Not a huge difference, but enough to make a difference that will produce a better picture. I like it. It's the most expensive filter I have ever bought, but since I had a gift card, I didn't worry about it too much. Now I know what it can do, I would buy another. My previous filters on my other camera were just plain polarizing, maybe a 10-15 dollar purchase. I also trust Tiffen, and all my other filters are Tiffen.

Very good quality product.
This filter is built with good material and it is made in USA. Very good quality glass and is making a difference on very bright sunny days with white fluffy clouds in the sky that normally don't show much in photos with no polarizer filter. The price is very reasonable as well.Highly recommended.

Great for my first CP
I did not want to spend a bundle on a CP as I am not a professional photographer and what I have learned is self taught. I found this to be great for the bright out door colors.. truly brings them out. Learning how to turn the lens to get the picture I wanted was fun, but I found that I have to check frequently to make sure I'm not unscrewing the lens all together. It came off and into my hand at one point. Oddly, when I wanted to take it off that night, it was difficult to grasp. Overall, I like this lens and recommend it to those that want something of decent quality but is affordable.

Works like intended!
I paired this Polarising filter with my 90mm Sony Macro lens and a Sony A6000.The water was muddy so you weren't able to see the body of the frogs under the water without the filter. I'm not that great of a photographer so they pictures aren't that great but the filter works nicely! Can recommend!

Funziona bene
