Q: is it safe for use on a painted washing machine?

I would say yes, but I would still try a back hidden corner first just to be safe. From our experience it works and it would be the high or low pressure of the elbow grease you put to it.

Q: Will this work on vinyl sidding

I’m pretty sure it will... I was using it on brick and didn’t have that great of luck but it is very strong.

Q: Some paint removers damage plastic. Is this safe on plastic?

We used it on our plastic slides that go inside the cyclone fencing and with mild to medium elbow grease the graffiti came off and only left a faint dullness. Our fence plastic strips are a dark brown and are ten years old, so I expected some fading only because of the pressure to get the graffiti off.
