Great Product
I was reluctant to purchase this given a number of bad reviews. However there were some good reviews also and given the few alternatives I decided to go ahead. After it arrived I cut a small spare length for testing and stuck it to a spare bit of panel board which I cleaned with Methylated Spirit before fixing it in place. I checked it the following day and it took quite a pull to remove it.I then cut the three pieces I had purchased to length, mitred the corners and fixed in place after carefully cleaning all of the surfaces with Methylated Spirit. The most difficult thing was cutting the mitres on this fairly flexible material. I only used Silicone Sealant in the corners where I had made the cuts.Time will tell if these last a long time but they look good at present.

Good 👍
Great quality...however, it refused to go round the corner on our shower tray...it had to be cut, then sealed with a sealant product. It could have had a stronger adhesion too. But, after all of that, it looks very smart and does its job.

Excellent shower strip for a water-tight seal.
I ordered this 4M/157inch Shower Strip to seal the gap between my bath and tiled wall. The old silicone sealant had become mouldy and was peeling away, causing leaks whenever the shower was in use. This shower strip has proven to be an excellent solution.Upon arrival, the strip was rolled up in a packet, which initially worried me as I expected a hard plastic material. However, it is a flexible silicone strip, making it highly adaptable and easy to work with. The quality is great and feels durable.Cutting the strip accurately was a bit tricky due to its flexibility. I did a few test cuts using a Stanley knife before making the final cut, and it worked out fine. The adhesive provided, however, is a waste of time in my opinion. It barely holds and is not suitable for creating a water-tight seal. If you’re only sticking the strip for aesthetics, it might work, but for preventing leaks, it’s ineffective.Instead, I stripped away the glue from the strip to make the surface flat and applied a generous amount of waterproof silicone sealant along the edges. Pressing the strip firmly against the bath and tiled wall allowed the sealant to squeeze out slightly, which I wiped away for a clean finish. Once dried, the seal was incredibly strong and completely water-tight. This method creates a much stronger bond compared to the adhesive it comes with.Overall, the quality of this product is excellent, and it provides a perfect solution for sealing gaps in the bathroom. The delivery was fast, and the service was great. Highly recommend this shower strip to anyone facing similar issues.

A little fiddley
When the product arrived I was surprised to find it coiled up, in the pictures it looks like hard plastic but actually it's silicone rubber. This makes it tricky to cut for angled corners, a very sharp knife with a brand new blade is best. Repositioning the piece right into the corner is tricky as the sticky back adhesive strip makes it impossible to slide into the place you want it. I had good success by peeling back the covering tape from one end just enough to let it protrude enough to be able to grip it, then starting positioning from the far end working towards the slightly exposed end. When the exposed pieces of adhesive tape were stuck in place I slowly pulled the covering (red) tape from behind the strip (narrow side first) holding the strip in place as I progressed. This gave very good results. I like the flexibility of the seal, this meant it was able to follow the tiles with no big gaps. I finished off with a bead of silicone along the edge as an extra precaution.

Not as good as I hoped.
I recently moved an now have a wet room, however the water drifts into the bathroom up to the toilet, I bought this and applied it to the shower boundary and sealed both inside and outside of the water barrier, it was a little better but water still leaked over reaching the sink creating a puddle, thinking I may not have used enough sealant once the area was dry I applied more sealant to both front and back, the water still seeps over, it was worth a try but doesn't work as well as it states or as I had hoped.

Looks good so far
It’s flexible and easy to cut with a knife or sharp scissors. Adhesive seems ok, but not as good as the standard 3M backing on some products, so I ran a thin bead of silicone along the top and bottom as a precaution. Easy to fit, covering a fairly large (10mm) gap between the shower tray and the wet wall. It’s now been in place for a month, and no issues.

Avoid.
Avoid. Cheap rubbish adhesive doesn’t stick at all. Completely useless.
