Best Slow Feed Hay Product I've tried so far...
I have two whole bale hay nets, and a Nibble Net. All of them are quality products, but the Easy Loading Hay Hoop is my favorite. I love how easy it is to fill the net - no more getting covered in hay, or wasting hay on the barn floor while trying to wrangle a limp hay net over a bale or flake(s) of hay. Once filled, it is a breeze to close and lock the opening agains the wall. Great product design and execution - well conceived, and well made! I especially like that the hardware (wood screws) necessary to mount the unit were included.

Great net
Social media friend suggested these. I had been looking for something for our new barn, these are easy to use and work fabulous! No issues so far and our one mare is rough with her hay bags! Definitely worth the price

Not useful if you want to feed more than a flake at a time
While it does seem sturdy, it is largely useless for real horse world. The bag can only fit 2 flakes, 1.5 if you want to actually close it. If you have any horse over 15 hands (as I do) and want to mount it where they cant get tangled in iy ( or use it as a butt scratch), then you have to climb on something to get the hay to go down in it and get the stupid thing closed. The hay bag hung over the top of the stall fit more, was cheeper, and while I also had stand on something, at least i could fit a lot of hay in it. Oh and FORGET closing it with goes on. NOT HAPPENING.

Beats feeling hay bags
Have been filling hay bags for years to feed the horses. Just a real pain! Purchased a couple of these and so far, they are great. They are a little awkward in getting the locking pin to line up, Had to use a hand file to clear a rivet head but once that was done, it became much easier to open and close.A great idea but still needs a little work on the locking pin.Not sure what all the bad press is about because the units I received were easy to put up and the pins were not backward. Very easy to install.

Already huge hole in the net
Didn't tale long before one of the nets has a huge hole so that is no longer any good.

Heavy duty, slows down fast eaters
I bought two of these and am very pleased. They're heavy duty and easily mounted. They slow down the fast eater and keep the hay off the floor so they don't walk around on it while they're eating. Probably not too practical for group feeding - mostly good for in stall, individual feeders. One of my mares attacks her food and so far this hay hoop has held up great.

Great slow feeder
Works well, net appears strong, like how it folds flat to lock. It is attached to my barn so sometimes pushing it up to get open is a little stiff and have to watch I don't grate my knuckles on the wood barn, but very sturdy well made product. Horse chooses to eat from this versus the portion of her clip I put in the open feeder for some reason!
