Tomee AC Adapter for Wii U Console

Wii u wouldn't turn on so I did some research and found that the ac adapters tend to go out. Couldn't find an extra adapter anywhere but online. Decided to go with this one because it was cheaper and it's held up longer than the stock ac adapter so far which felt like it was more expensive oddly enough. It may feel like a cheap transformer but it works like a charm.

I bought this when a bunny chewed through the OEM power supply on my son's Wii U. Let me tell you how THAT conversation went with my wife and her decisions to buy two bunnies and then occasionally allow them to run around in the living room. (Hint: it begins with "I told you so", which makes for a very cold evening and making your own dinner for a night). This worked great. For a week. And then suddenly stopped working. Or so I thought. ^%$@#^%@ bunny again! On the plus side, the wires can be stripped and it can be Frankendoodled back into working again for a while with no small amount of electrical tape. I would have given this product 5 stars if it had come with a spiked, electrocuted cord to the unit to prevent bunnies from getting at it.I'm kidding, of course (kind of). All of the above is true. I'm giving it 4 stars because it is a bit shorter than the OEM model.But it would still be great if it could be made bunny-proof.

It didn't work for my Wii U but it does work well as a paper weight.

I sent this to my brother in Idaho. He said that it was not for the Wii U. We are unable to get to it to return it or exchange.

Worked as a temporary fix but broke after about two months.

It's a Wii U power adapter. What is there to say other than it works as expected? I mean, I was kind of irritated because I thought the Wii U had the same power supply as the Wii. When I took the Wii U on a trip to visit family who had a Wii, I found I couldn't use it and quickly ordered this. Great price, great quality. Highly recommended!

We were setting up a new game room and needed to move our Wii U between two rooms on a regular basis. Rather than have to unplug and transport the power cord each time, I ordered this item to let us just disconnect the console and move it alone.We've had no problems at all with the adapter. It's been in use a couple of months now and is still going strong.Until Nintendo decides to make genuine parts available easily, this is an excellent replacement option if needed.

I purchased this as a replacement for the Nintendo Wii U after a dog chewed the original. I have had it for about five months. I use my Wii U nearly every day and so far it has worked flawlessly. And is a good option when you consider the only way to obtain a brand name replacement is through Nintendo for twenty dollars more, plus shipping.
