Sick cat wouldn't eat
The sick cat (URI) would not eat these, but the healthy cat would. I'd recommend these treats for health maintenance, not Illness.Naturally, their appetite is suppressed when they are ill, and these are just not enticing enough for a sick cat.I am going to try the paste in a tube format of this supplement for the sick cat.

My cat loves the taste, and he's calmer
We adopted a second cat a few months ago, and it's been a tough adjustment for our first cat, Bruno. Lots of hissing and growling, occasionally even scratching, and he was just generally very tense and agitated at having another cat in the house, even though we followed all the Jackson Galaxy advice of separate rooms and scent swapping and slow introduction. I tried a different brand of calming treats, but he didn't always eat them. These are MUCH better - Bruno LOVES them and gobbles them up eagerly! They do need to be refrigerated, but it's no big deal: I just warm them in my hand for 10 seconds or so before giving them to him. I've been giving him these treats for about a week, and I do see a difference: he's much more tolerant of being in the same room as the new cat, and even being on the bed with him, without any growling or fighting. Still an occasional hiss, but not nearly as often as before, and nothing more than that. I will continue using these treats!

Bad experience
I was very disappointed in these. My vet recommended lysine for my cats respiratory issues. I decided to try these even though they were very expensive because it seemed like a good product. My cats wouldn’t go near them and they’re suckers for a treat. Any treat. I’m guessing the smell put them off because they smell awful. Kind of like medicinal liver. Yuck.
