Great rugged phone
Fast processor that did not heat up when playing games or charging. Very long battery life with face recognition turned off, just good battery life with it turned on. Very fast 5g and fast LTE internet. Wi-Fi fast, too. Heavy (see photo) at nearly 10 ounces but to be expected for a rugged phone. Charging plug and plastic screen protector included.

BEWARE... UNLOCKED but verify with carrier that phone is COMPATIBLE. useless to me.
I liked the phone for all the features and ruggedness. It was unlocked so I assumed it would work on my carrier. (PURETALK, ATT). Wow, was I wrong... I put the phone on my plan and it seemed to work for a while, but now calls are dropped, don't ring, go directly to voicemail, can't place a call..... I have talked to my provider and they said this phone is not supported on the network. It is now past the return window, so I am stuck. Check with your carrier and see if this phone is supported if you find one, hit me up, I got one for sale!.

Incredible durability!
This is my second purchase from this manufacturer. This phone offers the speed, the durability, and everything you love about a smartphone at a fraction of the price of some of the others that do not deliver on what they promise. I would recommend anyone that reads this should buy this phone. I'm 99% certain that you will not be unhappy. Just my two cents.

Bad functionality
So far: 1- Stock camera app crashes whenever I try to open it. I thought this might be fixed when the phone updated to Android 12, but it was not fixed. So I had to find a camera app from the play store with no ads, which isn't easy. But this app crash also means the "underwater camera" function on the phone is broken too. 2- The phone will drop music output to Bluetooth after I either switch from music app to phone call and then back again, or just from letting the phone sit idle for a while. So multiple times throughout the day I have to go into Bluetooth setting to turn off the media output and then toggle it back on to reconnect that sound. This has happened with multiple headsets, multiple Bluetooth versions. 3- I have not verified yet if this does pickup 5g, as I do not live in a city which gets coverage. I only mention this because an identical phone is sold on AliExpress as a 4G only phone. (Same Brand and Model names.) 4- Battery life is not as long as I would prefer, even with location and wifi off. But I'd say is probably average given how thin this rugged phone is. I'm just used to thick rugged phones with bigger batteries.

Camera doesn't focus almost all the time
I had high hopes for this phone and really liked it first! It provided exactly all features that I need for an outdoor experience, the rugged style which, at least to me looked also pretty solid and expensive, dual SIM and underwater capabilities. The phone first appeared to be very well built, Android OS, all basic apps and calling features working flawlessly EXCEPT FOR THE CAMERA! The camera is a major and huge disappointment making the phone almost useless in normal life. I'm not a fun of mobile photography, I do not have high expectations for phone cameras, I never use a phone as my main photo tool. But... I expect a phone camera to be able to capture a price tag or a poster in a store with no issues, or some occasional life moment when I it's better to have a bad camera than nothing. And this is where BISON totally fails not being able to focus in almost all cases even in simplest and well lit conditions. The same for video - it's almost all the time gets out of focus. I tried both the built-in camera app as well as Open Camera which I like and both worked in same conditions with no issues on my old Umidigi F1, no questions. I assumed this new Umidigi Bison will do at least not worse. I was wrong and would better read other negative reviews complaining on the same issue with the camera. So far I had to return it. I do not recommend this phone to anyone who wants to use a phone camera at least once in a life. Only if you have absolutely no use for a phone camera you may try to go with this phone.

Good enough
Did not have the phone for long as it fell about three (3") inches on its back and stopped working, while it was working it performed good enough, the finger print reader was average.
