My husband likes this floss. It's not for me, as I'm a smooth-floss kind of person. We both really love that it comes in the cardboard packaging and comes with so much floss per package. Great deal for this particular product.

I’ve used this floss for many years. I started buying it because it was the only floss at the time that didn’t come in a plastic container, there is just a tiny plastic bag that holds the floss in the paper-material dispenser. I was not able to get the floss from my usual supplier, so bought it from Amazon, but it arrived in a plastic bag, which defeats the purpose of buying a minimal-waste product. Shipping material is the only reason that I gave the product 4 stars rather than 5 stars.

I wanted a floss that works, but was also safe to use. I’ve tried several, most of which were like dragging rope - much too thick. I read one reviewer say this floss broke, but I’m on my second pack and I’ve not had the floss break once.

I was looking for a product that was environmentally friendly as well as not laden with chemicals such as Teflon. After some research I came across this in some on-line reviews. I have some crowded teeth and had a problem with other flosses getting hung unless coated with chemicals to make it slide through. This is by far the best "natural" coated one I found although not perfect. The flavor which some described as medicinal is faint in my opinion and not that noticeable to me. I would give it an extra star for not being made in China. Product is made in Columbia.

I bought this really becuase it cuts down the on the plastic waste. Although the Floss itself is plastic i believe, at least the box isn't. I was using a rotation of REACH and mostly Glide. Both took no effort but im not sure they really got in and did the job. This floss is much harsher between the teeth and had me bleeding the 1st week. It does glide through but will get stuck in some areas which causes it to shred a bit. I still prefer this brand to others at this point. The only downside to the cardboard box is if you get it wet or put it in a travel bag with any wet items. It will fall apart. Also, make sure you open it correctly or the box will never close properly again!

Loved that the box is paper instead of plastic and it holds up great. The floss is nice and thin. Will be my goto floss from now on.

I bought this floss product a couple of times now. Given the whole issue surrounding plastic waste, you cannot fault the only ethical and sustainable floss on the market. Biodegradable is the name of the game. I'm certain that for many people this floss serves them perfectly well. Everyones teeth are different right. But I've found the floss seems somehow thicker or wider, because when I try to pull it through my teeth, it sometimes catches initially. So I have to pull quite hard, but then of course it gets through into the gap at quite a force and hits the gum. Also, this means it frays very easily. I assumed this was normal, but then I happened to try a friends Oral B floss which slips right through. To be fair I have also experienced this problem with other plastic flosses, so it seems the Oral B one is unique. Which makes me think this could be solved, because it may not be a unique problem to this silk floss. Maybe it's the coating on the Oral B stuff, which may mean there is no suitable eco friendly alternative. For now I will stick with the Eco-Dent, as it does what it says on the tin, but depends how bad my teeth get in future.

This floss is finer than usual floss (which I can't fit between my teeth & previously had to use tape). It states that you can double it up for wider gaps, although you'd obviously use more that way. The minty/herby taste is very subtle so I usually don't notice it after brushing with mint toothpaste. The box withstood daily use for over 7 months well & I now have only a tiny plastic bag & bobbin to throw away; the box & the metal cutter get recycled.Long-term effect? I had my usual dental check-up 4 months into using this and got excellent feedback. That doesn't mean it's any better than conventional floss, but it's certainly no worse.Only 1 drawback: the floss itself is still nylon! I understand the only alternative at the moment is silk, which is not vegan, so we need something else...

This is the best dental floss I have found. I have been using it for a couple of years and I am on my 3rd purchase. I love the biodegradable packaging but it also works very well. Worth spending the extra in my opinion but I also assume the price will come dowm as it becomes more popular. Love it. Thank you.

I bought this floss after going vegan in January. I've used it every day and there is still some left! I will definitely be buying it again. My only problem is a tiny amount of shredding

The floss is still in a plastic bag. Disappointing when you've paid a premium to avoid plastic.
