Low Light and Cheaply Made - Can't Recommend These for Long Term Use
Not sure if this is a "get what you pay for" situation or not. I guess so at about $2 each.Assembly is simple enough, but the spike that is used on one end to insert it in the ground, does not stay attached. So if you go to pull the light out to relocate it, the spike stays in the ground. If you decide to buy these, make sure to leave the top of the spike out an inch or more so you can grab it when relocating. The light output is nothing to write home about for sure. I expected a bit more and they don't last very long either on a charge cycle.I wanted something quick and cheap, but not cheaply made. If you are budget constrained and don't need something to last more than a summer or two, at best, then these are probably fine. But I can't recommend these for long term use.

Inexpensive Outdoor Lighting Solution
These lights are small and made out of inexpensive materials, as you would expect for a low-cost product. They put out a star-shaped blue tinted light at night which casts down onto the ground. They nicely illuminate the walkways at our house. The metal bands on the top aren't attached (they can slip off when you twist the heads to access on/off switch) and the metal bases, tubes of very thin metal, are easily dented. The company thoughtfully included a piece of film to protect the solar panels during shipping. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the lights work even if they are placed in spots without direct sunlight. At the end of the day, they do the job and the company was responsive when I alerted them about dented tubes. I don't expect these to last very long but I certainly hope they do.

Cheaply Made, Decent at First but Didn’t Last Long
Worked for a couple of weeks. Then they stopped working one by one. A year and a half later, I’d guess that maybe 5 out of the 24 I bought work. They also are not very bright and should not be purchased for lighting a pathway. They give off a subtle amount of light. Overall seem cheaply made. 3 stars is being generous.

Poor Quality Control
The biggest issue I had with these is that out of 12, 1 is much, much dimmer than the others and seems to be getting worse. I suspect that the solar charging is malfunctioning. It's not near shade and on the south side of the house so I know it's getting plenty of sunlight. If that were the only issue then I would just chalk it up to some bad luck, but overall these are low priced and it shows. They are pretty small, all 12 come in a box that you wouldn't think would fit. The metal stands use very thin walls. I have no issue with the spike as it's relatively sturdy. The light pattern is posted in reviews, but it's hard to understand how strange it looks in reality. A bunch of starry spikes on the ground. They have a very blue light that looks cheap. In short, I need one more, but I absolutely don't want 12 more. I have to give it 2 stars. I don't like it. I suspect for a few dollars more I could get much better ones.UPDATE: 3 more went bad within the return period, so I returned the entire set.

I'm so happy!!!
I had read all previous reviews and was still skeptical. I rec'd these lights and placed them down my sidewalk and in my fower garden. I removed the plastic cover from each light. That night I looked outside and was so disappointed. No lights.....:(. So I went online and saw there was an on/off switch. Duh! I went outside and took the lid off each light and hit the on switch. The next night, I had the prettiest, brightest lighting. The ones on my sidewalk have a large fan effect. The pictures on the previous reviews didn't do justice to what I experience every night when I look outside. Absolutely beautiful lighting. The price is great! Enjoy!

Lights worked great for about 2 weeks
Lights worked great for about 2 weeks. I purchased 2 -12 packs. I now have about 4 that have quit working all together. So it's either roll the dice with another order to replace them or throw all of them away. I never contacted the seller over this, so I can't say if they would have done anything about it. Hence the 3 star rating

Decent
They work but are very dim. The plastic spike doesn't really click in on the silver pole so it just kind of sits there. Put the plastic spike in first then set the light on. The pole is thin and will bend if you try to use it to put the light in the ground.

Nice surprise
Lights are what I expected and was pleased with end results. No instructions on the box to let you know the lights need to be turned on first. Easy to do once you know. 1 light broken and wondered if I could receive 1 replacement as all other lights are working.
