Needed some longer carriage bolts
Carriage bolts could have been longer to allow for angling down.

Target not included
So when you put a target in the picture, you would think it's included... nope not in this case... but i may have missed it in the little type somewhere. But even with that, it's a good quality kit so not to upset with it... Just a heads up for any other Evelyn Woods reading peeps out there.

These things take a whoopin' and keep on trucking!
I bought a few sets of these for my gong stand, and a few other uses. Long story short, these are great, perform well. More Below. These took shots from 5.56, 9mm, JHP 10mm, x39, 54r, and an unnecessary amount of .22. They Just work. The best way to set these up is to put the cords towards the shooter, so "forward", and you'll be good for a LOT of small holes.Really, I did a week of shooting, put well over 4k rds down range in the direction of these straps, and they held up fine, I was really skeptical, planning for how I'd hold up my gongs when one inevitably broke. Fortunately not one of the 6 straps ever broke, really didn't suffer a ton of noticeable damage.

Great value for the price
High quality product and very easy to set-up. I chose the chains over the rubber straps and everything works as it should, very sturdy and zero issues so far. Highly recommended...

Straps are the way to go!
Used the straps instead of chains this past weekend while shooting steel out to 550yds. I liked them much better than chains! So much more that I bought 2 more pairs to go with more targets. When chains get hit, they break and you're done for the day unless you have more (which it's always a good idea to carry extra anyways) but with these straps, they can take a few shots! We didn't even know we hit it until the end of the day, but it took a 308 and kept holding!Do yourself a favor and go with the straps!

Quality control is questionable
First, what I liked. The hardware to mount the straps was complete and appears to be well thought out. The carriage bolt head that inserts in the target hole was too large for the target I bought so the carriage bolt head would not fit flush. This is not manufacturer’s fault as there are many targets out there and as the bolt hole size varies so this is to be expected. The problem was quickly rectified by drilling out the hole larger to a 3/16” depth... No more problem. What I did not like was the quality control on the rubber straps. They were noticeably different in thickness, one was 1-1/2mm thinner and and had 2 less layers reinforcing cord. How do you miss something that is so noticeable that it is the first thing you see when you take it out of the bag.Update:After taking this out to the range I discovered another “issue”, these straps are listed as self healing. If you are shooting them with large bore pistol ammo and the smooth side is forward toward the shooter, the ammo passing through would rip the reinforcing cord out the back of the straps. I turned the straps around so the cord was on the side toward the shooter and had no more problems with excessive damage to the straps

Excellent!
These tough straps were just what the doctor ordered! I set them up with some AR500 Gong targets, some 2x4's, and some metal brackets (to hold the stands together) but I didn't want to do chains. I had just shot some chains to pieces and made a mess and figured I'd give these a try. They were easy to work with, came with all the needed hardware and are definitely more resilient than chains. I like to shoot big target close up with the pistols, but the smaller targets are my preference from a distance to press my skills, so until I have a rifle trued up right hitting the target square on is not guaranteed. Well I was all over the place while zeroing in a few rifles recently and I hit these straps quite a few times and frankly they have held up pretty impressively. I've hit them with 5.56, 7.62, and 9mm rounds at varying speeds and distances. When I came back up to check things out I just find a few tiny holes (I could maybe push a thin-coat-hanger-wire through, if I tried hard) and if I didn't look close I wouldn't have known they'd been hit at all. The fiber in the rubber must be what does it. Regardless, I'm very happy with the purchase, and will reccommend them whenever I see chains in use from now on.
