Very happy with our purchase. I think this is the 4th set we purchased from this seller. The lights last very long. Some of our neighbors even asked us where we got them as theirs only last for about an hour. Ours last very, very long. Love them!

I purchased these to use inside ghost decorations for my porch this Halloween and specifically chose them because they were listed as solar rechargeable. Initially I was really bummed because it seemed that I had to have the batteries in and activated (removing the strip that is in the way to prevent the battery from being drained during shipping) in order for the lights to come on. I was still happy that the solar function did turn the lights off during the day and turned them back on at night and had resigned myself that I would still have to use batteries to get them to come on at night. NOPE! I just needed to be more patient and allow them to solar charge for MUCH longer than I would have anticipated. Since there were no printed directions in the box, I didn't have the right expectations for how long it should take. Now that I know, I'm able to rotate them out of my ghosts once their solar charge has been used up and put a fully charged one in. Definitely worth the price!

I love the mood these give off and the subtle lighting. Would have marked it 5 stars but one of the 8 lids did not light up. Battery worked fine in another kid so it was something in the light string. 7 lights look great though.

Updated Review: The lights are a nice touch, with a few complaints.First, what I thought was faulty wiring on multiple lids was just light sensitivity.The lights, while the switch is set to “on,” don’t turn on while in lit areas. I assume this is because they are solar charging, but I have to be honest that I would much prefer that the “on” and “off” switch actually mean “on” and “off.” (On my terrace, I have a single overhead Edison bulb. It’s bright enough that the mason jar lights turn off if it is on– but the mason jar lights are too dim to be the sole light source– an annoying catch 22. The included image is edited for visibility, so it’s comparably much dimmer in reality.) To the makers, I’d highly suggest a third switch/mode for leaving the lights on, regardless of ambient light.Second, the jar lids are barely compatible with your standard mason jar– Bell, in my case. The thread on the lids are not well defined/do not match the thread on the jar, so you have to press quite hard while twisting to force the lid on the jar.

These are beautiful to replace the original ones that came with the mason jars, they are brighter and really pretty. The only issue is that barely last more than the original ones, which is about a year and a couple of extra months. I made the mistake of buying the same batteries that came with them and they did not work, I think is the solar cells that go bad. The price is good so you replace them, I just wish the would last longer.

These are so cool!

I love these but they do get dirty very easy which does dull the light a bit. However they are waterproof lol
