I really want to make an effort to reduce my use of single-use plastics, even the ones that are supposedly biodegradeable. So, my choices were paper or reuseable. No thanks to the reuseable. But paper comes in all kinds of forms and is very biodegradeable. They're waxed so they're moisture resistant, which means you can pick up most dog poop without it soaking through the bag onto your fingers. They also hold up to light rain, which beads up on the paper. They're a little more delicate than a plastic bag so you have to work out how to pick up dog poop with them. I just do a careful version of what I did with plastic bags - stick my hand in the bag, pick up the poop, and careful turn the bag inside out around the poop. This is where you have to be careful because the bag can tear, though I've only had it tear around the top. Then I twist it and toss it. I have two Dobermans and I can use one bag per poop, generally. If a poop is kind of messy I'll involve paper towels. But, messy poops are hard to pick up with plastic bags, too. Anyway, I like this as an alternative. I'd have preferred the bag to be gusseted on the bottom as well as the sides, but I can't seem to find that. But being waxed and having this level of thickness to the paper seems to suffice.

Every household who have girls and ladies should purchase these feminine hygiene bags. They are perfect for tampons or pads, keep the smell contained and disguise what is in the bag.

I bought these for a wastebasket with a foot pedal to open and close the lid. The wastebasket has a plastic insert that doesn’t allow for a plastic bag. These were the perfect size and the wax coating keeps moist trash from making a mess of the inside of the wastebasket. And, they are economical enough that I can replace the bag every couple days without feeling wasteful. Very hygienic!!!

Disappointed. The image alludes to it having a flat or squared bottom and the description mentions "with gusset" to fit into the dispenser. This image as shown is not accurate as the items do NOT in fact have this feature. A gusset is a fold or additional panel of material added to the sides, bottom, or both of a bag, enabling it to expand outward when filled. Will not waste my time to return & reorder, but will not order any products from this mftr.

love these little bags; I used it to pack a sandwich in or send treats to my grandchildren. I also use it for my bathroom garbage can. It is the perfect size and makes it handy for cleaning it. Shared with a friend who also raves about it.

About a year ago our town began a composting program. They provided us with a small household bin and a larger one to accumulate in. Without using these bags we had white worms in the outside bin. Since we started to use these bags we no longer have a worm problem...

Product was as described and arrived quickly. But it's quite a bit thinner than the ones I am used to buying locally and if there is any water, this bag breaks easily.
