spare shell holder
Holds 12 gauge shells snuggly and fits the stock of my Ithaca 37 very well. Install over the barrel end, not from stock end.

EXACTLY what you want.
Easy decision. I searched a ton of these and couldn't be happier with my choice. I was concerned that it would slide around or be an odd fit and was pleasantly surprised that it slid on with ease and has stayed fixed in the position I have it ever since. One Catch: If you use a strap for your weapon, the pin that holds that strap in can get in the way slightly and cause the sleeve to bunch up on one end. This was not a deal breaker by any means, but it is an annoyance I was unaware of before my purchase. You'll see in the photo that this doesn't allow for the sleeve to slide all the way on. (any recommendation's for a fix are welcome.) I rate this at a 4. (Rating Key below) - Hard not to give this a 5. But with a small hiccup and uncertainty of this brand, I am going with a 4 and will update in the near future with any additional info. RATING KEY 0-5 0 - Don't Buy. 1 - Good for Free. 2 - Good for the Price. 3 - Worth The Buy. 4 - This Is a Good Product. 5 - Buy It! You're Welcome. Disclaimer - I DID purchase this product. Good universal accessory
This was a challenge to install but once in place it stays in place. Great having shell access close. Hunting or home defense this is a very useful accessory. Can be installed in left or right.

Really needs anti slip material on the inside
I would say it works okay not super great. The shells fit perfect and don't slide out or move but there is no rubber or silicon lining on the inside of the main sleeve so when you shoot it slides forward causing me me to have to realize it into position every 5 shots. Good build quality but just like I said it need some type of anti slip on the inside. I'm going to be looking for alternative options

After 4 rounds fired the holder slides up the stock towards the trigger assembly. Other than that, good for the price and holds shells tight

Works as intended. Probably could have tapered one end slightly for a snugger fit with skinnier buttstocks, but as good as anything you would find in store.
