OXO Good Grips Glass Salad Spinner, Large/6.22 Quart, Clear

Tired of crappy spinner mechanisms? Feel like you’re contributing to plastic waste? Disappointed in stainless steel? This is spinner for you! Glass is sturdy and attractive enough to serve salads… I’ve even lined with linen and served warm rolls. The inner base which the strainer basket sits on is well made & designed for sleek functionality. Easy to clean which is really just a quick rinse. MOST important to me is the spinning mechanism in the top. I think this is the best one even by this brand. Is not loose, the stopper works and the lock holds pump closed for storage.I use it every day. Now I will note there is nothing “non slip” on the bottom of the glass bowl. I like this because it is less silicon or plastic. However, be mindful if place on a wet surface, it will slip. If dropped on a hard surface like granite, it could beak or crack. I have a thin cedar board in my repertoire of cutting boards, so I place it on this or a hand towel on the counter. Cheers!

I like how nice it looks and the glass bowl seems very well made. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the fact that it did not spin fast enough. I have to push down on the top a lot and fast to really get the veggies dry to my liking. I have a way cheaper salad spinner and it’s plastic. It does a really good job of spinning my vegetables dry. That one cost only $20-$25..

I use this salad spinner frequently & love it. It appears to be very durable. I wash all the pieces except the top in the dishwasher & I hand wash the top separately. (I just don’t want to damage it.)The nice part about a glass bowl is I can see the water clearly when I wash the produce & make sure everything is nice & clean. The previous salad spinner I had was garbage compared to this OXO glass salad spinner. The previous salad spinner was plastic & arrived with a broken clip, so you had to hold the lid down on one side to use it.If I ever have to replace in the future, I would buy this one again. I would recommend this product.

First I was like, Self?... I can't believe I'm paying this much for salad spinner, stop being excessive" Anyway, I love it! Best purchase for my kitchen and meal making this year thus far. Good looking piece, works great, simple, easy to clean and with this bowl I've pretty much eliminated many other bowls in my collection. Very happy I went with the glass rather than plastic 🙂 👍🏻

Glass do not drop it. Rather expensive but when compared to the plastic the lasted less the 2 years should be worth it in the long haul. Glass in the dishwasher and plastic by hand
