inexpensive but seems well made. Long wire to battery, but do a rough measurement along your desired path because it takes more to work around substructures and hot areas. Used it on a trip and once since, worked well, charged well. Nice to be able to turn it on and check voltage of my battery before start up or while on the road too. Charges rapidly, super charger. Well, overall I like this charger. It seems well built, and it was nice that it included a fairly long cable to make it from the battery to the front of the bike. To skip to the chase, YES, it's worth buying. Further info follows:Pros: Small - Well built - Nice voltage indicator - Power cord included - Weatherproof cover -Cons: The power switch is extremely small and basically impossible to toggle when wearing gloves. A true motorcycle USB charger should have a larger switch (or a true toggle switch). It's not the fastest charging rate (approximately half the speed of my Motorola turbo charger).Laughs: I totally bought this charger thinking it was made by Battery Tender. I guess I need to pay more attention. XDFinal thoughts: Mroinge absolutely stole the color scheme from Battery Tender to get buyers and it worked! This dope completely fell for the color scheme and good reviews. HOWEVER, the good news is that it's not a piece of junk. I have six of these and they all work great on my BMW motorcycles. One word of warning, do not use this hub with a magnetic charging cable, for some reason the magnetic cables burn up the USB port.I've used these ports for multiple Pan-American and RTW long distance rides and they were flawless. The voltmeter is also very handy.

Fast charging.ive had others with smaller wire and took forever to charge.this one is fast

I was experiencing battery drain on my bike from having both a phone & gps charger plugged in which wired directly to my battery. Even without the items plugged in/ charging I'd occasionally come out to a 'no start' condition. This not only eliminated it by virtue of the on/off switch but also gives me the actual voltage of my battery.It was well worth the piece of mind. The fast charge model does in fact work with IPhone & Samsung & Garmin type USB cables.

Just what I wanted. Carry in motorcycl saddle bag. Plug into battery tender cord as needed to charge/run devices

If you do not have a existing battery cable you will need to purchase one that connects to your battery so you can plug it into your USB phone charger

Update:I posted my initial review after the product stopped working. The product company, Mroinge, read my review and provided a replacement without me contacting them and asking for a replacement. That tells me that they make a quality product and that my experience was not typical. They certainly are very customer focused and that speaks volumes about their expectations of their product.I have updated the review from 3 to 5 as a result of their stellar care and proactive engagement. Wow!----------------------------------------------------------------------I liked the product initially, for a few reasons. Easy to read display, on/off slider switch, compact size, SAE, etc.Used it in an outdoor setting. Connected to 12V battery and powering a WiFi security camera via USB. My configuration worked for a few months with no trouble but died this week. I tested all the components; this was the one that failed.
