treble bleed circiits are cheap and easy enough to improvise or buy anywhere. it's nice that this one a) is made of quality parts so it _looks_ good installed, and b) comes in pairs. i threw the second one in my parts bin and i'll be glad i have it some day. i didn't look at the values of the resistor or cap, but i'm real happy with how it performs with my 500k pots and P90s -- i don't notice any change in tone when i roll the volume off.

I think the capacitor should be higher value for a more noticeable effect.

These are Chinese made, but they work as advertised. Real simple installation. Price is high for a couple of resisters and caps.

If you actually use your volume controls- you should definitely use a treble bleed. Many players waste money on potentiometers or even replacement pickups, when this is all that is needed

Kept the highs up at lower volumes where you lose it the most.

I suppose it's good value since it's cheap, I could tell a different but I don't know if it is enough to justify the mod unless you constantly are changing your volume to low settings. Hard to comment on sound quality cause everyone hears sound differently. It does function though.

As my song writing has evolved, so has my guitar playing. Starting to explore tone, using my volume, the highs would drop out. This treble bleed setup got rid of that muddiness I was encountering. Simple and straight forward install. I've got close to 15 guitars and I'm adding them to each one for all the pickups. Definitely a must on junior style guitars. A little pricey I guess, but if tone is important to you, you can't complain about a $14 price tag.

Das Teil ist robust und in Ordnung. Der Ton bleibt beim zurückdrehen eher hell. Die Ergebnisse können mit verschiedenen Gitarren und verschiedenen Klangeinstellungen unterschiedlich sein. Wenn man so etwas ausprobieren will, ok. Das ist auch eher eine experimentelle, die Klangvorstellungen betreffende Sache.

These are effective at keeping the sound from getting muddy as you turn the volume down. However, as I've read elsewhere, the volume stays high until just before it's off. There's little taper to it. I suspect the serial circuit will be more effective.
