Strong, clean-looking hardware that made my railing install easy
I ordered this Muzata 20-set because I needed reliable hardware for multiple runs of 1/8” stainless cable on my deck. The quality is excellent — solid T316 stainless steel, smooth threading, and a clean, minimal look once installed. The kit comes with everything needed for straight runs on wood posts, and having 20 sets in one box saved me from buying fittings individually. Installation does take some planning (measuring runs, drilling posts, and tensioning correctly), but the hardware itself performs perfectly. The finished railing looks modern and tight, and the parts feel like they will hold up well outdoors. Great value for larger deck or porch projects — I’d buy it again.

Good stuff
This stuff is pretty cool. Looked at so many designs and came back to the basics. Looks great and actually very pleased with the quality. Thought it would be sketchy considering it was the lowest cost option but this stuff is good. Very happy. Bought the Muzata cutter pliers and they were junk but for $10 I didn't expect much. Got about half way through (30 cuts) before they started to dull. As far as crimpers I used a 24" manual bolt cutter from Harbor Freight and dremeled a 1/8" hole. They worked great. The crimps were aluminum so very easy. Overall very satisfied and actually bought more to do a second upper deck. One thing I did that was very helpful was to make a jig for drilling the holes. Each end takes two holes and the middle posts take the 1/4" for the cable. Had eleven sets of holes on the jig spaced every 3". Jig took about a hour to make but after that is was plug and play. Just slapped the jig up and predrilled. I will put a pic of the jig in later. My posts were already painted so marking each set of holes with a pencil was out not a option. Also VERY IMPORTANT is to pre drill the holes for the screws. If you don't predrill you will probably strip out the heads. Went into my cedar post easily after predrilling . Went into my Douglas Fir post really hard even with predrilling so would definately have stripped them out. PREDRILL and life will be good....

Great quality product, easy to install (even if you’ve never done anything like this before!)!!
The mazata cable railing anchor kits and turnbuckles are awesome. I was looking for a baluster which wouldn’t obstruct my atrium window view and definitely found it. I was worried it would be difficult to use and I’ve never done anything like this before. Once we created a template to mark the holes for the anchors, the installation of this product was super easy. Don’t forget to put the wire loop protectors or turnbuckles (depending on which side you’re on) on the bracket prior to putting the second screw in. I found it easier to pre-drill the holes for the screws to keep them straight. Wire, crimper, wire cutters not included. Wish the kit would have included the cable protector sleeves, but they are an additional $50 for 50 pieces - and you’d need two per hole going through posts. My only complaint is that the screws strip easier than I expected them too. There are also NO EXTRA screws, crimp pieces, or the end loop wire protectors, so if you strip a screw or mess up anything, you have to open another entire pack up. When each pack is $4 already (before wire/tools/sleeves), and you need 40 packs, it adds up quick!

Best value stainless hardware out there, but screws are crap and time consuming to install
Hands down the best value stainless steel set of fixtures you can get. If you're on a budget, just buy this and get on with installing it, you're not going to find anything cheaper. I spent several days OCD researching which product to buy and this is definitely the best for your money, though shop around on Amazon because multiple companies look like they drop-ship the same hardware, might get lucky and get some components for slightly less. The good: - Seems to be great quality (will talk about the screws later) . None of the hardware gave any signs of breaking while installing. I've almost finished installing 80 sets and have another 20 to go. - Swaging is easier than it looks. Once you get the hang of it running the cable is actually the easy part. I purchased the larger swaging too, holes don't give exactly the same measurement min/man as the smaller tool but hole #3 seemed to do the job. - People state the wire snips from the swaging set are crap, but I haven't had a problem yet. Give a single clean snap instead of slowly cutting through the wire. - You can totally install this by your self with some extra prep work. Though I'm 6'5" 250 pounds so had no trouple tensioning by hand, some might. - Looks great if you want a more industrial look. ie there's more hardware on show than sleaker systems. Though turn buckles are smaller than once you'd buy in a hardware store. The bad: - Supplied screws are crap. Maybe if you pre-drilled EVERY hole they might work a bit better. Every run of 11 fixtures had at least 1 or 2 screws that would scrip out while driving them in. Mind you was using a decent impact driver with heavy duty bits used for deck buidling, maybe a lighter touch with a drill... - Since you need to fix the fasters to the post with other hardware already attached would be a nightware to try and hold them all steady and fasten without pre drilling which would take a long time. - (Probably) much more time consuming to install than more expenive sets - No instructions. I F'ed up the first swage because i didnt know which hole totry and use. Do youself a favour and: - Go buy some decent screws before you start, save time, effort and swearing. - Look at local building codes, I think 3" gap between wires seems to meet min requrements everywhere. - Buy a good pair of golves, the rubber coated ones worked well for me. - Put something down on your deck to stop the pieces falling through the decking when (not if) you drop something. I used a scrap piece of ply and moved it around to each post as i was installing. - Spend some time making a template or jig for fixing the hardware to posts. I spent a couple of hours prepping a jig that I could clamp to each post, jam the hardware in and screw everything down. No need to measure each post. Make sure you mark the bottom of the jig so you don't put it up against a post upside down. Would give 5 stars if screws were better.

Quality and Value...
I've used this kit twice on two decks now and I really like the look, quality and value of the system. I intend on using it again for a bridge that I'm building for the railing system. It's perhaps not as "modern" looking as a hidden cable rail system, but it's far less expensive, functional, classy, super easy to install/adjust, and looks great.

Tremendous value and a great product
I bought a pack of these for a project a year ago and just bought another pack to make some hand railings on another project. At first I was skeptical because it was so cheap. A year later and my first project still looks like new. At 1/4 the price you’d pay at a hardware store, you’ll just be throwing away your money if you buy anything else.

I did 2 decks with this system and both of them worked great. I bought the swagging crimper as well which gave it a really professional appearance. Everyone who sees it for the first time is amazed how good it looks and how easy it was to do. My only gripe was the screws. They are very soft and strip easily. I always use a self center pilot bit to pre drill the holes and was able to use them all but you have to be careful.

The product is overall good quality but if you damage a screw Or another piece that needs to be pinched to retain the wire your screwed. The company should include few more screws and other items than could be damaged. I had to reorder another full set because i needed some iTems. Shame!

For someone who is not handy, this product was very easy to install. Great quality. Made our cable deck railing look amazing.

The wire rope thimbles were small and hard to work with so had to go out to buy bigger ones but was really impressed with the outcome. Very good quality.
