Worked for me!
I was restoring a delaminated carbon fiber roof on a BMW i3. I bought three cans of Car-Rep Epoxy in Jet Black Semigloss, knowing I was taking a chance even after reading some of these reviews. Also, I was using this product "Off-Label" by spraying over poured, sanded epoxy resin, not metal. I sprayed it in my garage where the temperature was about 78-85 degrees F. It was flawless. (Use a respirator, folks!) For my car roof, I got about two layers of coverage per can before running out and the third can was for touch-ups. I had no spitting or orange peel and even left it out in 100° F heat a day after letting it cure in the garage, with no bubbling or splitting of the paint. This epoxy paint saved me over $2000 by doing it myself, instead of taking it to a body shop, where they wanted to replace the roof. This DIY repair cost me the price of the liquid epoxy resin, plus these three cans of epoxy paint and my spare time. I might vinyl wrap the roof later, to jazz the car up a bit, but for now, this Car-Rep Epoxy Paint has done the trick. I like that it also says it's UV resistant, but time will tell if it holds up in the blazing Texas heat.

Not a good product
My cans splattered paint as it sprayed. The color is also very blue for an Anthracite Grey. Hard to get even a decent finish is globs of paint coming from the nozzle. All 3 cans did it. Paint seems to be lacking solids as the coverage is very poor, even after 5 minutes of shaking.

Good paint, good customer service
Used this paint on a project and the paint is still strong after 3 years of use and I didn't use primer. Only prep with sandpaper. 1 of the can was bad and when I reached out to the company, they took care of me. Very satisfied.

Unusable
Clogs the nozzle in about .3 seconds. Unable to even spray. Doesn’t matter how long you shake or temperature. Cleaned the nozzle several times, tried different nozzles, no help.

Doesn't spray - nozzle clogs
tl;dr sucks but would buy again if the task was appropriate. After reading the reviews, I shook the can, vigorously, for well over 3 mins before even opening the can. Of course the nozzle clogged immediately. The nozzle needed to be cleared about a dozen times through the use of the can. I removed the cap then removed the yellow tip from the cap. I used a small wire to clear out the yellow tip. The black cap itself only clogged a couple of timesThankfully, I was only using this to touch up a truck frame. The paint is obviously good quality but I wouldn't try to paint anything with this paint that needed to look flawless. If I needed to cover more area than 1 can of this paint, I would definitely just buy 2k paint and use an hvlp.

Worked better than expected!
Excellent product for repairing damaged painted parts. Used on a motorcycle front fender after repairing some dents and scratches. The finish held up well during cutting and polishing.

Excellent quality
Consistent spray pattern without any spitting. Laid down nicely with minimal orange peel. Some areas that I laid a bit thicker are truly smooth as glass. I was spraying on a 30 Celsius day so that might have allowed me to get away with a heavier coat without any running. Very happy with the result.Cure time needs to be observed. "Set to the touch" will still result in a finger print if you'renot careful, give it the full recommended cure time. At 20h it's significantly hardened but still needs lot more to fully cure. Can still leave finger print. Paint layer self heals your finger print if it's still early enough so don't panic.Photos are with about 48h cure time. Paint layer is significantly cured but a finger nail depression can still be made. So not fully cured yet. Instructions call for 8 or so days until full cure. Will use this product again.

Not what you would expect... beware
Bought this as a 'better' paint. Watched all the online company videos and followed all the instructions. Sprayed on okay and then a full two days later, the paint was touch dry but if you put your finger on it, it will leave a finger print impression. &%$*&%#. Repainted it no problems and tried to reach Finland for advice. No acknowledgement or reply. Phoned the American customer service who promised 'James' would be in touch later that day. Next day, got an email obviously because James finally reacted to the Finland questions and even though I explained everything, he says 'I hear you have problems'. Emailed him back exactly what I had already written and then he says' 'Was the temperature and humidity correct?' Turns out this paint only cures properly if it is in a 'controlled environment' not your regular garage. Told to wait up to 8 days before touching the soft paint and up to 6 months before a good synthetic polymer polish can be applied. Never once was I offered an apology for the poor customer service. Obviously, not made for a quick paint repair on anything. Would not recommend it if you are considering any job unless you have a very lot of patience.

Exceeded my expectations
The media could not be loaded. I use this product in combination with the high-build primer and an attempt to hide any imperfections in the metal and achieve the finish I want. I was trying really hard to go for a powder-coated look to match the surrounding components to which these will be attached to and the final result was absolutely perfect for what I need. I'm a really bad spray painter and even I was able to get really good results. I notice that the instructions on the can are different from the PDF instructions on their website. So, I'd recommend you go with the website instructions instead. That's what I did and it turned out okay.

It’s top coat, should be used on base paint.
I painted my wheels, result is not so good, but maybe it’s my fault.I applied it on wheels directly, the surface was mixed with bear metal, original paint and bondo, sanded well; however the texture on each surface was a little bit different, it’s not perfect though nobody could see clearly on that. Also, the coverage is not so good as it’s a little bit shy for 4 wheels only otter surface, by one bottle. I recommend use same color primer and base coat firstly.Other than that, it’s good.
