Some of us have big feet. That's exactly, prior to, why I installed larger petals and removed the stock, which were actually similar in size. But these offer the same grip! The quality is definitely there, don't mind the yellow plastic removable washers. They work very, very well too. Fully functional operation combined with superior strength. The yellow clip stays in place while riding only to guard the quick release mechanism. They do work excellent. Not going to go into things like having removable screws for traction. Not with these. These qr petals are 1 piece high grade aluminum, pressed from a mold. They work with cast screws for traction, just like the other type are removable. By the way, Its a great way to stop whacking your shins on sharp screws and yes, they can bleed too. It's also much more convenient to store and take with. Little to no negatives mentioned and at least 5 positives make these qr petals a win-win.

Item exactly as described. Only downside is extremely small print to distinguish between "left" and "right" pedal.

Nov, 2025 Update: I still like these pedals and am now buying two more sets for our new bikes. I also have a proper pedal wrench so installation will be easy. I bought these to replace the folding pedals on a folding bike. These were very easy to install and they are super light weight. My only issue is the small wrench that comes with the pedals. The gap for the tightening bolt is very small and none of my personal wrenches were thin enough to fit. If you have a pipe that you can place over the end of the wrench that comes with the pedals you can get plenty of leverage to tighten these. Luckily for me, I had a small section of pipe that fit right over the end of this skinny wrench and getting the pedals tight was easy. You can also just put on a pair of gloves and use the wrench that comes with the pedals. That will make it easier to grip this wrench and tighten the pedals without hurting your fingers

I’ve been using these pedals for a couple of weeks and they are doing exactly what I wanted and needed. They replaced a set of folding pedals that sounded like a good idea but didn’t really save much space. Being completely removable makes it so much easier to roll the bike into the tight confines of my garage. And no pedals sticking out means no banging my shins as I walk by. You do need a free pocket on one of your bike bags to cram them in, or just bend a wire hook to put them on between rides. Or a shelf, whatever. You do need to use and keep up with the little yellow safety clips. I left them off on my first ride just to see if they were really needed. Yep - it wasn’t too long until my shoe had pressed the release collar and the pedal came right off. I had the yellow clips in my pocket so no biggie to reinsert the pedal and add the clips. I do wish the company had provided one or two extra clips tho’, as they could get lost between uses, and sooner or later the plastic will surely break.

Pedals don't grip well, are somewhat small, and don't stay on the bike. And one fell off while riding despite being locked correctly. Almost lost it in the road next to me. Replaced with better pedals that aren't dangerous.
