1 X Dyson DC14 Replacement Hose

I have had my vacuum cleaner a number of years and this piece was showing wear. It now runs like new.

Original had dirt build up and the pole was hard to slide. This new one works great.

I have a 25 year old Dyson vacuum cleaner that I still use because the suction power of the hose is much better than the newer Dysons'. I noticed lots of holes in the hose recently and bought this replacement, it fits and works perfectly.

Received the hose and it fit perfectly. It seemed a bit tight and difficult to stretch, but attributed it to being a new hose. A bit over a month later, the tightness is still there, but that's fine. The issue I am having using the factory attachments. The opening isn't large enough for the factory brushes. The wand works, but not the brushes. Now, while using the wand, the adapter at the end of the hose popped off. It can be reattached, but remains loose. Now, I haven't been able to use the brushes without the wand and not I can't use the wand without holding the hose to the wand. Not the greatest quality and will reach out to the seller.UPDATE: Seller sent replacement hose quickly and no issues so far. Changed rating to 5 stars.

I have had this as a replacement for just about a year with some moderate use of the hose, about twice every two weeks we pull it out for stairs and tough to reach places.The fit is fine and seemed to work well.However, now 1 year later and it has torn in a few places. This should be more durable for moderate use. I will be buying an original next time as this is a 10+ year old Dyson and the first time I had to replace this part.

This saved so much money on not having to buy a new vacuum or send mine to be fixed! My Dyson DC14 is an awesome vacuum but the original hose was dry rotting and had torn areas throughout therefore the suction was poor. Changing the house and filters turned my old Dyson into a new machine! This hose fit perfect and took no effort to install!

Work, but it can be a struggle to get hose compressed again once extended with the wand.

We are beyond thrilled with this replacement hose for our upright Dyson vacuum that arrived today. It was easy to attach to our vacuum cleaner and we are extremely happy with it. Dyson doesn’t offer this part anymore so we are overjoyed with this option. It is very well made and arrived quickly. Highly recommended. AAA+++
