Works Just Like the OEM Version
This maintenance box is identical to the Epson part. This is where ink goes to die and I believe the only electronics in the thing are to tell the printer when it's full. This looks and feels exactly like the Epson part and like all the other 3rd party versions I've bought. My Epson 8550 liked it and with the OEM part selling for $24, this is a great deal.

Doing the job in my 16650 printer
The tank registered as new and empty on installation which is what you want. A power clean used a bit of the capacity and registered OK.At a fraction of the price of an OEM tank, go for this with confidence.
