Nice on my hair!
I'm really not beauty-care versed, but I wanted to try something to exfoliate my poor scalp. I was looking for something economical, without too many ingredients just in case my scalp didn't like them, or it didn't work so I wasn't out too much money. This combo does the trick! I got a fun little scalp scrubby tool (oh, it feels divine) AND some sugar scrub for my scalp that actually does help! I use it about once every other week if my grease is building up quicker than my shower schedule (I shower about once every two days) and I use about two teaspoons of product to scrub into my scalp. I have INCREDIBLY thick hair and I honestly don't know how other people actually get this stuff into their scalp around all their hair BUT the stuff I do get down in there feels GREAT and rinses out way more easily than I anticipated. It smells pleasant, and doesn't leave my hands or hair feeling oily (which is a huge green flag for me). It makes my hair shiny and my scalp less flaky, and I feel a lot better about the health of my hair (compared to my usual greasy roots with dandruff all over the place).

Sugar based scalp scrub
This Jasmine sugar scrub is a holy grail addition to any hair stylus home routine. It is sugar based as has a lot of natural oils. What I liked about this the most is the fact it lathers. It's not a shampoo but it's designed to get some level of lather once you apply the sugar. It smells nice while in use. I used this on my 4b hair and my partner's 3b hair will good results. I also used this on his beard which also got it feeling clean and fresh smelling. When using on head hair you don't have to rub harshly. I did so on my own scalp and ended up feeling sore in some areas. Such is not necessary when you use a small amount per section and gently rub. This goes for use on beards, rub gently. Because this product lathers, it's easy to rinse out. This is a quality pre shampoo treatment. I'm not saying drop your clarifying shampoos but this is a good alternative for scalp cleansing as it removed most of the oils and normal skin flakes ( different from dandruff.) You must follow up with your normal shampoo routine after use. The scalp scrubber this came with for me wasn't effective. I switched out to my normal scalp scrubber from a different company. Even if the scrub didn't come with he scrubber, I'd still pay the 10 they asked for. This product is worth the price point. Overall I am pleased with it's use, it smells great, easy to use and rinses well. Most importantly my scalp is refreshed after use. This is a very good buy.

Good for exfoliation
It’s nice but the salt aren’t as fine as the other brands.

Lovely
When you open it, do not let the smell throw you off. It smells like roses. I hate the smell of roses. Once you use it, it does not smell like that. It makes your bathroom, bedroom, you, etc. smell so nice and special and warm and fuzzy and the only problem is, is that it's such a small container and it runs out so quick. It was one of those three am purchases I did not know I made until it came in and didn't know I liked it until I used it.

The smell is weird.
I really wanted to love this. But the smell in the shower was very strange. It was very strong when it mixed with the water. I would throw it away but it did cost a lot. I use it as fast as I can then I jump out of the shower. It does make your skin very soft. It leaves an oil type residue after you rinse but it is not oily when you dry off. It’s some thing I’m getting used too. It also doesn’t smell that bad on your skin after you dry off. So either you like it or you hate it. I personally will not buy it again.

Good for oily scalp, bad for flakes…
This scrub is a great scalp detox. I have oily roots and lots of product buildup/dry shampoo as I only wash 2x/wk. This scrub left my roots more clean and voluminous than usual. I also have a very dry flakey scalp. I have used every dandruff shampoo known to man and nothing works for me. I was hoping this scrub would help remove the flakes and moisturize my scalp but It definitely did not do that. My scalp is probably more dry and flakey after using this scrub than it was before.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this product smells and it really feels good on the scalp. It's a nice treat for my scalp and hair, and it really works to get the oil build up off the scalp, which in turn, allows you to use less shampoo.

The scent slapped me so hard in the face I had to get rid of this product. If you can’t snort Yankee candles? Do not try this product. If that’s your idea of relaxing? This product is absolutely for you
