I installed the original Kuryaken Brand on my 2006 Goldwing back in 2008 and they're still going strong on that bike now (2024). I recently bought a 2014 Goldwing and I found the Kuryaken brand armrests were no longer available so I ordered these. Man, what a quality difference (these are worse). I didn't want to rate it lower because "at least they exist", but here's my experience. 1) As other mentioned, no instructions - luckily there's an old YouTube video of a guy installing his Kuryaken. 2) The welded support brakets that go in the passenger pocket didn't fit correctly. It's like they didn't have a Goldwing to try them on so they guessed. I had to break mine to make them work. 3) it didn't come with the bolts for the hole you create in the back of the pocket. 4) The armrests were on the wrong bracket. Maybe most people don't notice, but it was obvious to me because my 2006 was sitting in the garage still when I was installing these. 5) The set screws on the bottom of the bracket weren't set. Might not be a big deal, but I would guess a lot of people don't know there's a set screw and without instructions they may not get set. I don't remember ever tightening the ones on my Kuryakens. I didn't even know there was one.Bottom line, I'm pretty handy and I have experience with the originals. I worry about people who order these and have neither.

They look nice and work good after I repaired and remanufactured the swivels on the arms. Cheap China made then came apart when trying to tighten them up a little. Cup holders looked better in the pictures.

These do not fit a 2006 goldwing gl1800. No instructions for install. And very cheaply made.
