Gorgeous crochet thread but very small!
The product picture is deceiving - I think they probably had to blow that up at least 10x it's actual size. The actual size is more like 1.5 inches x 2 inches, if that gives you an idea. When I opened the package, I was literally flabbergasted at it's size. I've crocheted with many different brands of crochet thread, and the product picture makes it look like it's about the same size as Curio #10 crochet thread, but it's not. While Curio #10 thread boasts a whopping 721 yds of thread, this Lizbeth #10 has only 122 yds - quite a difference, especially for the price. While Curio #10 runs about $4.99 a ball, Lizbeth #10, at least here on Amazon, runs between $6-$10 a ball. (There are cheaper online venues, e.g., Handy Hands website, where it runs $4.50 per 122 yd ball of thread). So, that said, the thread itself, especially this colorway, is GORGEOUS. Like Curio #10, it's a very soft mercerized cotton thread with a beautiful sheen. I definitely love the color choices offered by Lizbeth - roughly 216! I think they have the very best selection of variegated colors anywhere. Also, Lizbeth crochet yarn comes in hard-to-find sizes, e.g. 40, 80, etc. Overall, while I love this yarn, the yardage is just too small to use for anything other than special projects. But again, you cannot beat the colors and the sheen of this yarn, so keep in mind you won't be able to get much mileage out of the small ball of thread, but for those special doilies, trim, etc.., it's a definite consideration. It truly is a gorgeous thread.

Small Spool Meant for Tatting Lace
Most reviews appear to be from crochet folk. While you can use this for crochet it’s meant for lace tatting. Absolute best thread for tatting, doesn’t fray or get fuzzy and you can load an impressive amount on shuttles. Color pay off is amazing.

Tiny spool
Tiny little spool !! Not a crochet skein. Over 10 dollars is crazy for this!

False Advertising and product dimensions
I’m sending this back. The spool is incredibly tiny! The product description states that it is a little over 4”x2.5”, but that includes the paper part of the packaging. A normal spool of crochet thread (the partially used orange one pictured to show how small this product actually is, cost less than this tiny spool. All the photos of it do not show it inside of its packaging and make it look like a normal sized spool of crochet thread. I’m very disappointed. I was looking forward to making something with this Berry Burst color.
