Big Book of Quick Knit Afghans-24 Quick & Easy Solid-Color Wraps

This is my second copy of this amazing book of afghan patterns. I have made several of them and they are easy and beautiful. In fact the very first afghan I knitted was from this very book! I highly recommend it and hope it stays in print for a nice long time (in case I misplace this copy, too).

Good patterns

This paperback has great photos and a great variation of afghan designs. The patterns range from easy to intermediate with clear instructions, an easy-to-read type, and a large-sized font.I appreciate a mix of easy to moderate difficulty because sometimes I just want to zone out and have fun knitting while I watch movies. Other times, I want to knit something that challenges my skills. What is great about this book is that the designs are still beautiful, even if the pattern is easy.The only downside for me is that the order of the pictures does not match with the corresponding number of the design instructions. For example, picture 14 should correspond with design 14.

Good ideas.

It's a book of knitting patterns that I expect I will enjoy when I have time to knit.

Was hoping to find this book of afghans to be easier to knit. Wasn’t what I expected. But will keep because I may be able to do some day.

Easy patterns. Nice variety of patterns. All afghans use 2 strands of yarn

A lovely selection of patterns for making chunky cotton and woollen blankets. The needle sizes are large, so quick to knit. You need a circular needle to make them.

Hab bisher 3 Decken aus dem Buch nachgearbeitet um sie Weihnachten zu verschenken. Nr. 4 und 5 sind schon in Planung.Mit doppeltem Garn und 14er Nadeln sind sie super schnell fertig, sind wahnsinnig kuschelig und sehen grandios aus.Die Anleitungen sind gut und einfach beschrieben.

I like the clear instructions and variety of patterns.

Shame pictures and patterns are not nearer each other rather than having to look through the whole book for the photo of the pattern.
