Nostalgic.
The setup was very easy and the instructions made it even easier. I got this as a gift for Christmas and I play it every weekend. The size is also compact since the speakers are built in and it only takes up a small corner on my kitchen table. The power has an automatic shut off so you don't have to worry about the player being over used if you walk away for a while or if you forget to change a record. The needle seems to be solid I haven't had to replace the needle and I use it on a regular basis and have had it for a couple of years now. The blu-tooth is another awesome feature with easy connectable ability for your mobile device or out source speakers. Very recommended for a gift.

For casual listeners and beginners this is great
Got this for my mother for christmas. setting it up was easy. the speakers play clearly and the volume gets loud enough to be heard through a roughly 1600sq ft house level. I dont know anything about good sound quality unless the sound quality is obviously bad, so these speakers seem clear, not fuzzy. good enough for casual listening. the look of it is nice, too. solid.

Works great. Here are some software tips.
The hardware looks great and sounds great too. I bought this specifically to convert lots of old LPs to MP3s. It does this with some post processing. The included software installed on my Windows 10 machine with no problems. The good: it automatically separates the tracks and allows you to name the file, album, and artist for file management purposes only. But it only saves as WAV files and does not let you add detailed information like track number. I found free software (EZ CD Audio Converter) that both let's me convert to MP3 and add detailed track info. I can bulk add artist, album, genre, and more, then add track numbers individually. Not a bad solution at all. Now I'll be listening to my old albums as they convert. Occasionally the provided software misinterprets pauses in the music as a new track. I use Audacity to reconnect the pieces into one track.

It does what I need very well.
I have 100's of old LP's, even some 78's. I have wanted to digitize them, but the one amplifier I have that would accept phono, smoked when I turned it on. And, this is so much simpler? Basically, I take this player and plug it into the USB on my laptop. The included software digitizes it, and free software cuts the ends off, and, if I wish, filters it. The turntable has a well balanced arm, and an automatic off at then end of a side of playing. I merge the two sides of a platter into one file. I'm still on the same stylus, with a couple of cleanings, after 50 records. But I plan to change at 100, the stylus is inexpensive. Of course the speakers are tinny, very much expected, but still better than my laptop speakers. I could run the pre-amplified output into any amp if I wanted to listen to my platters. But I expect to be listening to the digitized copy, anyway.

Brought a lot of joy into our home
I bought this for my mom for her birthday because she has a ton of old records from her parents but never had a record player to listen to them. If you are looking for something for the nostalgia that has some of the modern perks like Bluetooth connection and file conversion (which both work pretty easily), this is the player for you. If you are a huge turntable and sound lover and are looking for the best sound quality, that might not be this one but for everyone else, I highly recommend.

I made my father cry
Hello fellow amazon enthusiast. I write this in telling you that if you buy this as a gift for your father, mother, brothers, sisters, almost anyone... expect them to cry. My father has a collection of records he has been accumulating since he was still in middle school. Classic hits. You name it he's got it. The problem is it broke in one of his old moves and he never replaced it. Well for his birthday I thought of only one this... this. And when I tell you it was emotional I cried so hard when he started to tear up as he unboxed it, plugged it in, and threw his first ever record on this and listened.Overall, all I can say is this was one of the best gifts I have given and I cannot recommend it enough.

Completely worthless as a record player.
The record player (the main advertised function) didn’t even work. The tone arm does not go down far enough to touch the record for the first 2.5 inches into it. The speakers are about as good as a freebie give away Bluetooth speaker and the parts of the disc I could actually get sound off of sounded terrible on this player when compared to any of the other record players any of my friends and family own.The only thing this did right is the look. It looks fantastic. If you are looking for a piece of decorative ewaste then you are in the right place. If you are looking for a working record player, then look somewhere else.
