Excellent for plastics, leaves smooth edges, no chipping or melting at all
I didn't buy my blade here but I've been using it for many years with excellent results. I was leery of spending over $100 on a saw blade but it works so much better than standard blades that it's worth it if you're going to cut a bunch of plastic. I cut mostly 1/8" ABS and a lot of it, over 2000 linear feet a year and after several years it's still working well, though it could use a resharpening.

Not that good, but what are the other options?
Been cutting wood and various plastics for years on a tablesaw but recently I bought some kitchen cutting boards that were giving me big problems with standard carbide blades for woodworking, so I bought one of these. Although it performed better, the quality is way short of what I would expect from a $100 plus blade. So what are my options if I return this? Well i couldn't identify one that i knew would be better. so i may just keep this blade but a Tip for those using any blade to cut plastic, raise it up, up to minimize blade contact with the plastic.

Great blade for PVC pipe cutting.
Amazing saw blade for PVC pipe. Clean cutting, minimal to no burrs, doesn't burn, doesn't melt... Now if they can only figure out how to make the PVC cuttings not stick to EVERYTHING in the vicinity... I know, not the blade's fault.

Very quiet cut with minimal burrs.
This is one of the most quiet and clean cutting saw blades that I've seen in a long time. If you're cutting thin plastic, this is the blade for you.
