The First Years Breastflow Bottle, 9-Ounce, Set of 3

I found these bottles on a breastfeeding website and thought I'd give them a try. I was given a nipple shield the first day in the hospital with my newborn son and now he refuses to nurse without it so my milk supply is no where near what it should be. I purchased these and started using them right away. The first time he nursed with it, I was able to switch him from the bottle over to my breast and we successfully latched on!! I thought it was a fluke but he latched on again the second day! Though it's not always 100%, it is a major improvement and I also read somewhere that these nipples are used as trainers for babies who don't like to latch. He also gets no nipple confusion and will eagerly breastfeed or bottle feed. I had also experimented with the playtex naturalatch but after a few times using that bottle, he had big trouble latching on for breastfeeding after never once having any problems.Getting used to these is a bit strange, the outer shield of the nipple colapses and flattens out. So though it may look a bit weird, that is what is supposed to happen. I have not had any problems with leaking and find the design to be good. They are a bit on the squat side to they take up more room in the diaper bag but this also allows for easy cleaning and formula mixing. The only drawback is that the outer/inner nipple system is as such that a bit of milk will get left behind at the end of a feeding. This is no problem with forumula but every single drop of my breast milk is precious so I am a fanatic about trying to save every last drop.I was also worried about problems with air (baby has to suck the air out of the outter nipple to get things going) and the air he ingests hasn't caused an issue.The last issue that I am thrilled with is nipple speed. This truly is a slow flow nipple. I've found the Medela and Born Free slow flows WAY too fast. The playtex natural latch had a good slow speed but this nipple is slightly slower.They are also BPA free!

These bottles have been wonderful! I breast feed while home but needed a bottle that would allow for when I need her to take her breast milk in a bottle. I love breast feeding and wanted to continue it while returning to graduate school but didn't think I could until a review on a baby site suggested this nipple design. So I bought some and tried it out.This bottle has a nipple which really DOES keep the baby sucking properly for the breast. I cannot recommend it highly enough. After three children and being tied down due to breast feeding, and after the misery of nipple confusion when I did try a different bottles with my older kids, this is so wonderful, I can pump and store breast milk for when I need to be in classes and know that my baby will not make me hurt when I get back! It has also allowed my husband to give a bottle on those occasions when I was so tired I feared I might drop the baby, so I pumped, went back to sleep, and he gave her a bottle. Daddy loved the bonding time and I got some much needed sleep--thanks to the nipple design on this bottle.The bottles come with plain lids too. I pump, pour it into the bottles, put on the snug white lids and refrigerate. It makes things so easy!I also got the bottle warmer from this same company and the bottles warm up perfectly in it. Not too hot, not too cool, just right. Makes it easy for Dad and baby sitter to feed the baby when I have to be gone at feeding time.I used both sizes that this bottle comes in and recommend the larger size most highly. I found for some odd reason with the smaller bottle the baby seemed to get more air. Using the larger bottle, even with smaller amounts of milk, worked perfectly.To make this excellent bottle even better I would try this same nipple on a bottle with inserts that collapse. I think that might do even more for helping keep the baby from swallowing air. But then the insert type bottles don't work in my bottle warmer and that thing really has been worth its purchase price. Another little tweak I would love to see is a cover for the nipples when I put them together, but don't put them directly on a bottle, I would love a back to screw onto them to keep dust out of the nipples until use, but that is handled currently with a "ziplock" bag so again, it is not a negative.I wouldn't buy any other bottle!

I was very excited to try this product as it’s supposed to reduce gas in infants. I was happy with how quickly the product shipped and how easy it is to clean the bottles and parts but I have to say I’m still pretty disappointed in my purchase. One, the bottle leaks my precious liquid gold pretty badly. I would say about 10ml was lost throughout the feedings. Two, my son has terrible gas pains, keeping me up all night after using these bottles. Three, the nipple collapses and folds, making an air pocket and causing leakage and I have to stop the feeding in order to allow the clear part of the nipple to re-gain it’s original shape so that my son isn’t sucking air. Lastly, the space between the green part of the nipple and clear part of the nipple harbors lots of precious milk, which never seems to drain back into the bottle or make its final journey to my son’s tummy, rendering the milk useless unless I take the bottle apart and save the milk in some other way.I wish I could request a refund but I’ve already washed all the bottles and tossed the packaging it came in.

de entre multitud de marcas esta fue la que mejor desempeño tuvo, mi bebe estuvo muy comodo con ella y su sisteme redujo mucho los colicos, las de recien nacido fueron regalo en baby shower y nunca pude encontrar en tiendas especializadas la marca, amazon fue la unica opcion para tener las de mayor capacidad

Le doy tres estrellas porque si ayuda al bebé a adaptarse al pecho y biberón para una lactancia mixta, pero no es verdad que la leche sale sólo al succionar del bebé hay que estar acomodado el biberón de una forma que se haga vacío y hay veces que el bebé se termina la leche sin lograr conseguir ese vacío. Es sencilla de lavar si se lava inmediatamente después de la toma. La mamila tiene unas ranuras en donde la leche puede quedar seca si no se lava inmediatamente.

Los biberones llegaron a tiempo y en excelentes condiciones de empaque como de los mismos biberones, muy recomendables tanto en costo como en calidad

Excelente tamaño a buen precio el detalle esta en el material delgado del chupon con la succión se dobla y permite entrada de aire
