Bavarian Spicy Landjaeger Snack Sticks, 3.2 oz

So glad to find these on Amazon. My friends in WA have been buying them locally and sending as gifts for years. The store in Seattle advises storing the unpackaged sausages at room temperature until they are dry to your liking. Then, they can be refrigerated. I think they taste best when very dry. If any mold starts growing on the outside, you can clean it off with a paper towell dipped in vinegar.The store is right across the street from Pike Place Market.

It's expensive but all Landjaeger sausage is. This is the best tasting I've found with just the right amount of tang. I fondly remember when I was in Germany in the service back in 1986 I would stop in the local meat shop and get a half pound of Landjaeger and go next door to the bakery for a half dozen brotchen and have the best lunch of my life. This tastes the same but with a tiny kick.

Quite good. I was looking for an old fashioned dry pepperoni stick like the ones found hanging on a rack in the bars of the early 1960's. While this spicy meat stick is good, (particularly if you open a package and let it dry in the refrigerator for about 4 -5 days), it is not that pepperoni from the '60's.Though labeled 'hot and spicy', I detected no heat. Since I like really spicy foods, this finding is no revelation. Nonetheless, the dried meat stick is firm, flavorful and satisfying. According to the contents, it is beef and pork but does not, thankfully, contain hearts, lips and other garbage found in some other similar products (Be sure to read the contents of these type of products.)These are relatively pricy when compared to other well known meat sticks (Slim Jim, Links, etc.)

Love this stuff!!! It’s tasty and spicy! It’s so nice to be amble to order it since it’s not available in my small town.

I have eaten Landjäger my entire life. My grandfather was from from Southern Germany and this was a staple snack. He never had this brand but I know he would approve. This equal to or the best Landjäger I have ever had. My kids also love it and take it to school for snack.

Oil leeched out as I ate this sausage all over my hands. Just hot and no flavor.

Great product...was able to buy at a casino..and looked all over and finally found on Amazon...very good..hit of spicy..so glad I can find them

They are quite tasty but I have to one strar them because after two weeks a package I forgot I had was found to have mold growing inside. Seems to a be a problem with Bavarian Meats products. I have had both the regular and this variety mold on me regardless of place of purchase. Check carefully before consumption
