The worst perfume I’ve ever tried! No hint of vanilla or amber or any of the other nice sounding notes that are supposed to make up this perfume, this took me right back to the last 90’s when women wore really stinking strong vile perfumes like this, I couldn’t breath & I only did two sprays on my wrist to find out the scent, really, really punchy scent that just kept giving even my dogs were offended. Had to wash my wrist three times and it still had a mild reminder lingering :( worst perfume ever vile scent nothing like the notes it describes I couldn’t even gift this on I don’t dislike anyone enough.

Not my type of parfum
Personally, I wasn't a fan of this - the smell was quite strong and long lasting on skin/clothes but I just didn't really like the smell.Even though it's marketed as Unisex, I'd say it leans more towards being a feminine parfum. It currently costs £34.99 for a 50ml bottle, which is higher than the average cost of more well-known brands. It's vegan and cruelty free, which I guess would slightly justify the higher pricing point.Overall, even though the smell wasn't to my liking, the longevity of the smell was quite good and long-lasting.

Potent oil-based woody scent from an ethical British brand
Although not a brand I was familiar with when ordering this perfume, I have now researched FaceTheory, a British brand producing vegan and cruelty-free skincare range. This perfume arrived in a simple cardboard box containing this glass bottle of eau de parfum and from the first use, I could tell it is a high quality product made from a combination of natural flower oils blended with a light skin conditioner and fragrance carrier. The result is a very long-lasting yet not over-powering fragrance with initial rich, deep, earthy and warm woody scents with patchouli and frankincense dominating before lightening after a few hours to become a lighter woody-floral.The fragrance is long-lasting and single squirt on the pulse points lasts through the day, remaining through to the evening when it might need topping up. Although quite strong and lasting, it is not oppressive, headache-inducing or likely to induce sneezing fits as some strong and alcohol-rich scents can. Instead, this is oil-based using natural oils to provide the long-lasting scent so can leave an oil film on the skin until it has fully absorbed. I didn't find this stained clothing but it did leave a greasy smear on my my work desk and wrist support which both needed wiping. For anyone looking for a lasting rich, natural, earthy and woody fragrance oil which will last all day and is made by an ethical British company then this is certainly one to consider for male or female wearers.

Smells lovely, made in the UK
This is my sort of fragrance, I’m not into floral, girly perfumes, I much prefer a more musky scent, usually anything with vanilla, sandalwood, Oudh etc.I can easily see this as a unisex fragrance, it’s warm and rich without being overpowering. You can’t really tell if you’re going to like a perfume from the description but some of the ingredients really help as a guide so I knew it was the kind of fragrance I generally prefer.I didn’t notice any oily residue as some people have mentioned, it soaked into my skin very quickly.I can’t say I’m that keen on the design of the bottle, it’s a bit dull but I keep my perfumes in their box, as sunlight degrades the fragrance, so this didn’t really bother me.It’s great that it’s made in the UK and we definitely should be encouraging businesses like this. We’re far too reliant on products that come from other countries, when we have some great stuff just on our doorstep.Very reasonably priced and is definitely one of my favourite perfumes now.Hope you found my review helpful

Vanilla/floral scent more for women I'd say
This doesn't use alcohol has the carrier so doesn't feel cold on the skin as it evaporates, instead it leaves a slight sheen on the skin.I use CK Escape, CK Eternity for men or Chanel Platinum Egoiste which are all citrus/fresh in their notes so was keen to try this.FR02 is, to my nose, very much more of a vanilla and floral scent which is pleasant but definitely more feminine than I'd personally choose to wear. I found the scent would sustain for a reasonable time but it isn't especially subtle, so don't overdo the application as it can be cloying. This is more of a scent for evenings and perhaps younger women? The vegan/anti-cruelty aspect may be important to you.

So strong
I'm afraid I do not like this scent.I have found it extremely overpowering, it actually made my feel a bit woozy. It is a musky type scent which is deep and heavy.Won't be wearing.

Not my type scent
The fragrance is not for me.A waste of money. No hints of almond, vanilla, or any other pleasant scents. This immediately transported me to my childhood. It brings back memories of when my grandma had a large herd of cows and pigs. She wore extremely offensive, potent perfumes like this and smells like faeces.I couldn't even give this as a gift because I don't dislike anyone enough. This perfume smells nothing like the notes it describes.
