Delicious addition to a mocktail or cocktail
This warm spice syrup is concentrated, so use it sparingly, a teaspoon per drink. I purchased it for a mocktail (The Winter Cup). I prefer my mocktails with seltzers, so I changed it to a "gin," this warm spirits syrup, and cranberry lime seltzer. If you find the taste too overpowering, add a seltzer flavor of your choice. Smell is reminiscent of pumpkin spice, color is amber, and thickness is similar to that of orange bitters. It is a little sticky. The bottle size is similar to that of orange bitters, making it suitable for use as a mocktail/ cocktail additive. I did not have any issues with leakage. The company was very nice when they misshipped the original purchase. Props to small businesses like this doing a great job!

Blown Away by Bay Leaf!
The sage syrup was my first choice, because I love sage. And it did not disappoint! It was just gorgeous and delicious, added soda water, deliciously fragrant and earthy, and just the right amount of sweet to highlight the flavor. However, I took a risk and bought the Bay Leaf syrup too because I was really curious. It was a risk worth taking. The bay leaf flavor is unexpectedly good, herbal yet floral at the same time, not overpowering yet it has a beautiful depth of flavor. Adding lemon gives it a full, pleasant Mediterranean vibe. The only alcohol I have left in the house after the holidays is Limoncello, and I looked up whether bay leaf and lemon go well together. Apparently, it's a classic pairing! I only added half a shot of limoncello and a little less than that of the bay leaf syrup, a dried bay leaf from my own garden, a few drops of fresh lemon juice and soda water- it is absolutely heavenly. For the kids I made it without the alcohol, they love it! I highly recommend the Bay Leaf syrup :)

Not what I was hoping for
As someone who desperately misses the Starbucks Juniper Latte, I was hoping to find something I could make at home that might recreate it for me. Unfortunately, this syrup, while well made does not have that magic. It was more floral than I cared for and reminded me more of a candle or a cleaner. Perhaps this would be ok for some other applications, but as I got it solely for hot coffee, it didn't hit the spot I was hoping for.

Beautiful
I had no clue what to expect with this product. Hadn't the foggiest what juniper berry was going to taste like. The moment I first sampled that delightful liquid emerald drink I was hooked. It has such an intriguing, sophisticated, sensational taste. I have never tasted anything like it and just can't stop daydreaming about having more :) I highly recommend all the products from Floral Elixir Co. I have tried a number of their flavours and find that their products are by far the most authentic tasting and refined, glamourous syrup experience I've ever had - and I've tasted very many flavours of syrup from all the mainstream companies over the last decade. I would recommend these products well above all the other mainstream companies if you are wondering which company to go with when choosing a syrup flavor you like. I don't like to do others down so I shalln't name names, but with one of the biggest companies it seems to me that no matter what flavor I get they all taste pretty much the same. With the others they are nice, but the usual sickly sweet goop, so sticky that your bottle lid wont undo after a while because all the sugar residue has cemented the lid to the bottle. The products from the Floral Elixir Company aren't like that at all. It's a refined product with the best quality taste I've yet found in all my experience with syrups over the years. And the colours ... liquid emerald, liquid amethyst, liquid citrine etc ... they are like jewels in your kitchen!

Extremely expensive for no flavor
No Juniper flavor at all. Taste like simple syrup, except not as sweet.

Makes a good NA 'gin' and tonic
We use this with fever tree tonic to make non alcoholic 'gin' and tonics. It's not quite the same as the real thing, but a very tasty alternative! It's a little pricey, but a little does go a long way.

Great product!
Got a small bottle as a Christmas gift and fell in LOVE with this product, so I had to order more. Added a little to a tequila for a great cocktail this weekend. The warm spice is surprisingly good in black tea also. The elixir has a great balance of sweet with the right amount of flavor. No artificial/chemical tastes at all. Can’t wait to see how I can use other flavors for summer drinks too!
