And I'm happy to report that the installation of this dog door WAS A BREEZE. I don't understand why I saw so many reviews about how difficult this door was to install. It honestly could not have been easier, and my wife and I were able to install it in about 15-20 minutes. Not only were we able to install it very quickly, but we didn't use a drop of glue, nor did we have to use the zip ties that come in the package. Here's how we did it: 1. Separate all the pieces with a flathead screwdriver. Pull the two ball shaped pieces off of the frame of the door, they are meant to be removed. 2. Have someone hold up half of the frame against the screen in the location you're looking to install it. The second person should be on the other side of the screen with a box cutter. Use the box cutter to make tiny holes in the screen at all of the inserts on the frame that person 1 is holding. You should also make little holes for all of the pegs that are attached to the frame. 3. Grab the other half of the base, and snap it together through the little holes in the screen that you just made. That's it, frame is installed. No glue, no zip ties, and the hold seems to be pretty firm. 4. Take the box cutter, and cut the screen out of the inside of the frame. Take that piece of screen and snap into the inner frame piece that you haven't installed yet. Snap the inner-frame into the outer-frame to make the swinging door, and viola, you're done. 5. The little balls can be used to lock the door flap if needed. Again, this installation couldn't have been easier. The door works well, and has been handling the impact of my blind, 90 pound lab very well. If you're looking for an easy-to-install dog door, look no further.

Miki loves her door! We've lived in our house for almost three years. It has a nice sized deck with a corner arbor with a wisteria vine and we added a gate, two "sails" and a large umbrella so there is lots of shade. We thought our dog would enjoy being outside on the deck. For two summers she had no interest but this year we couldn't keep her inside. We ended up leaving the french door ajar with a 12" opening in the screen which not only let her in and out but multitudes of flies and mosquitos. We researched and ordered the Namsan screen door, installed it and OMGosh! Five practice runs with her and she has been in and out, in and out for two weeks now. Our HVAC blew last Monday night and was not replaced until Friday so we had to close the door and drop the blinds every afternoon because our den faces west and is typically 5~ warmer than the rest of the house so she learned to push through "her" door to then push the french door open too. (if we could just teach her to close the french door!). We thought initially that this looked flimsy and as others have mentioned, it is difficult to line up and secure the tabs but we used a rubber mallet and installed the zip ties and it is holding up. I think it helps that our screening is fiberglass and not metal so it has some flexibility. She's a little taller (about 17") at her shoulders but she just dips a little and has no problem and when the squirrels are in the arbor trying to eat the food from the bird feeders she flies through the door at top speed. It's holding up well! All in all we are thrilled with the freedom this gives our girl and with the overall quality.

I was concerned about putting this together by myself and for sure it would have been much easier with 2 people. I was still able to install on my own, it just took probably 3X as long since I had to try and hold both sides in place while getting the screws in. I had to position one side then prop a heavy object against it order to keep the screw in place to the other side and get the nut on. The product is also very thin so it sits flush with the screen which was another concern since I was placing it on a screen with a sliding storm door. The storm door panel still slides fine without hitting the cat door. The product itself is a bit flimsy but so is my screen so I will have to see how well it holds up. For the price, it suits my needs so far. My one complaint is the door does not lock back into place at the bottom. If there is a magnet there, it is not strong at all. Once my cat goes in or out, the door stays ajar at the bottom which could allow bugs to get in.

Before attaching, we needed a brand new slider screen door. After putting that in my husband was weary of now having to worry about damaging new screen. This is the BEST dog door ever. Our 72 lb German Shepard goes in and out perfectly. It’s been about a month now and my husband cannot get over how well this 25 dollar door has held up. We can now have our slider open all day and night without having our pup give us the “ I see a stick outside and I want it “look”! No bugs get in and it really has changed our lives. We can be lazy now like we like it! LOL. She lets herself in and out. There are two locks if you need it on the bottom. Easy and quick installation.

Es muy funcional, durable a pesar de ser plástico pero precisamente por ser este material, permite que la tela de alambre de la puerta lo soporte muy bien. Por los tipos de material uno pudiera pensar que el costo es caro pero por lo funcional, bien hecho y la facilidad de su instalación, el precio lo vale ampliamente. Sí lo volvería a comprar definitivamente.

Ich war sehr skeptisch, bei der Bestellung, ob das wirklich was werden würde, aber ich wurde positiv überrascht. Die Klappe kam sehr schnell bei uns an. Sie wurde natürlich sofort eingebaut. Dies gestaltete sich als sehr leicht. Türe raus, auf eine glatte Fläche legen. Ein Teil unter und ein Teil auf das Fliegenschutzgitter und festschrauben. So nun nur noch das innere Netz ausschneiden und die Klappe Einsetzen. Fertig! Wichtig ist das man es nicht in ein normales dünnes Fliegengitter einbaut sondern wirklich ein Petprotect- Fliegengitter!!! Unser kleiner Welpe kann sich noch nicht mit der schweren Klappe anfreunden, so haben wir momentan noch das Netz welches innerhalb der Klappe ist nur unten und an den Seiten ausgeschnitten und er kann nun super ohne Probleme rein und raus. An den Ecken habe ich kleine metallische Halteringe angebracht, so klappt es auch mit dem Magnet. Wenn er etwas größer ist werde ich die Klappe einsetzen.

Einfache Montage, die Trennung der Teile vorab ist etwas kniffelig, aber mit einem dünnen Schraubenzieher gut zu bewältigen. Die beiliegenden Kabelbinder haben wir nicht benutzt. Unser Hund, ein Malteser hat die Klappe nach ein paar Leckerlis voll angenommen und auch ein Gasthund, ein Corgie, war begeistert davon. Die Besitzer werden sich ebenfalls diese Klappe anschaffen. Wir haben bewusst die große Klappe genommen, da unser Hund sehr lebhaft ist und inzwischen im vollen Lauf durchspringt. Einziger kleiner Nachteil sind die "Verschlüsse " der Tür. Da fehlt eine Halterung damit sie nicht verloren gehen. Ansonsten klare Kaufempfehlung
