Purchased this book for my sister. She LOVES it! Thick pages, beautiful cover, and tons of information. This is perfect for any orchid lover. Everything you need to know in one place! Definitely a great coffee table book.

Beautiful pictures. Not very useful
Beautiful graphics. It was an interesting book, but it wasn’t quite what I was expecting as it had only a few applicable details about orchids my mom has. But this would be a great reference book for people who have orchids from around the world

Well designed guide
The book is set up like a Peterson Guide. I am able to identify the plants in their natural location and understand their rarity/commonness. The photos are crisp in the details of each flower. The drawings of the plant helpful, knowing the growth habit. The map of world useful in travel plans, hiking ideas, even though the size of the book won’t be a good fit in the luggage. For value of the information, the price of the book is money well spent.

Absolutely gorgeous photography
As I read prior to buying this, it doesn’t include caring for the orchids. Regardless, it is one way to make a great bucket list of where to travel to see the most spectacular orchids of the world.

Beautiful book for orchid lovers. Just finding out where the orchids live in the world is educational. I have walked over some blossom and didn't realize it was actually a orchid.

Um ótimo livro que não pode faltar na biblioteca do orquidófilo que estudas as orchidáceas em geral. Uma boa fonte impressa de pesquisas e que possui muitas informações atualizadas. É um livro pesado e grosso, afinal são 656p. Outra informação de grande valia é a de conter a Classificação Sistemática da família Orchidaceae, segundo o autor. É um livro que recomendo aos orquídófilos
