Quakehold! 22111 Gel for Glass and Crystal, Clear, 4oz

I purchased QuakeHold Gel to secure my glass vases and collectibles, and I’m seriously impressed. It’s crystal clear, easy to use, and provides a strong hold without damaging surfaces. I love that it keeps my decor safe from accidental bumps and I feel way more secure knowing everything is protected.Just a small amount goes a long way, and it’s completely hidden once applied. If you have fragile items on shelves or mantels, this stuff is a game changer. I’ll definitely be keeping a jar on hand from now on!

This product is amazing and I highly recommend it if you need to keep items in place on a shelf/etc. It's almost like gluing the item in position without actually gluing it. The downside is it drips if it's on a vertical object or wall

The media could not be loaded. I thought I'd finally outsmarted my youngest, most gremlin cat. No longer could he knock things over, not with the power of this!! And for figurines, funkopops, action figures, things with flat bottoms that can cover the putty, it still works great. And maybe it would for everything if I had a normal cat.But I don't have a normal cat, I have a chaos gremlin. The instant I secured my dice set with this, he became obsessed, and while he had difficulty removing it, fixation let him persevere long enough to win - - and while like, I don't think him eating this, as he's obsessed with attempting to do, will *harm* him exactly, I still don't want him doing it. So for most things, this works perfectly! But if your cat is insane, make sure they can't actually see the putty. It's great that it doesn't have any smell, but I now find myself wishing they had a cat repellant version, because I've not found any way to get him to stop wanting to eat it.Otherwise, is fantastic, works great, is reusable, can get stuck in carpet but harder to do that than I expected. Definitely recommend.

I was nervous it wouldn't work well for what I was getting it for, but its actually pretty good! I used it to secure my monster high doll displays, it works great, it's a little finicky at first, and it takes a hour or so to properly "dry" or harden but even after that it's really easy to work with, although a little goes a long way since it kinda seeps out with tiny props

I loved that this is clear but it does not work. I applied it per the directions and it didn't hold the item in place almost causing me to break it. I ordered the putty that I had used in the past and it worked like it was supposed to, holding the item in place and keeping it from getting broken, something this stuff couldn't do.

I don't want to give the impression that this product doesn't work as intended, but given the fact that it was recommended for an off-label use, I thought it would be helpful to others who might have been tempted to try it for that other purpose to know that it doesn't work. At least, this item doesn't, I don't know about other brands.I am a diamond painter and I generally single place all of my drills and am very partial to squares. I've managed to come into some round diamond paintings quite inexpensively and feel an obligation to actually do them. I don't usually diamond paint rounds and don't particularly enjoy the process in doing them, so I figured my best bet was to multi-place to expedite the process. I use glue dots in my single placers, but they don't work in multi-placers and I don't care for putties because they're messy and impossible to clean out of your tips. I also worry that wax will leave too much residue. I ran across the recommendation to use museum gel and this was the least expensive option I found. This stuff breaks apart the way Silly Putty does and doesn't have the gross texture of slime though looking like it could be a similar product. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay together well enough in small clumps to work in a multi-placer and it doesn't pick up drills very well. So, if you come across this review after looking at giving it a try for diamond painting because the wax fails too quickly or putties and waxes are too messy for you, I recommend avoiding this product. It doesn't work for diamond painting. Once I gave up on this product, I opted to use double sided tape. It isn't perfect, but it worked better than anything else I had tried before.

Love this stuff. Easy to use. Most importantly, it keeps my kitty from throwing stuff off my furniture.

This product was recommended to me from someone in California. I don't have earthquakes but I wood floor that vibrate when we walk. This product keeps my Knick knacks in place. We live in a humid region & temperatures will stay in the 90s throughout the summer bc of that sometime the product melts and will seep out & around the knick knack but it always keeps the stuff in place. I am very happy with this Quakehold.
