On the one hand I can see how great this thing could be for one-finger issues, on the other, it's rather expensive given I needed more than one and could buy whole packs of less-sturdy finger cots for cheaper. I think if you're hitting one spot thats bugging you its great, but I needed more.The cover is great for protection, just remember your skin needs to breathe too so dont leave it on too long. You'll find rave reviews in the comments so I wont repeat what others have found works for them - for me it was nice, a bit bulky so I cut it in half since I needed it for my damaged nails. I just let each finger take turns - for what it is, it's good, but a bit pricey.

I have had problems with splitting finger tips for many years. It's difficult to keep lotion on them, and still, they would split. It is equally difficult to keep a bandage on a finger or thumb tip without using tape and all sorts of junk. These finger protectors are wonderful! They feel real good on your finger as they have a gel inside surface that is soothing. I put Vasoline on my finger and wear them overnight and my fingers healed up in a couple nights. I have fairly thick forefingers (about 2 cm diameter) and these large covers fit a little tight for comfort. Still, I leave them a little less than fully on the finger and they are not bad. They are durable and should last a good long time.Bottom line: These finger protectors are well worth the $$. I love them!

I bought this for my dry and cracked fingertip, since bandages kept falling off and needed replaced every time I washed my hands. It's a good fit, and I have fairly large fingers for a female. I can type on my keyboard with it on, which is nice. I trimmed it down a little, and put it on like a bandage, a little Neosporin at the tip. It did a great job! Kept my fingertip moist and allowed for the cracks to heal. My only complaint is that it's overpriced. It's only ONE finger sleeve, and almost $8 for it is excessive. I expected a package of 3 or 4 for that price. Also, after a few days it gets stretched out and falls off easily. But it did its job!

I bought what I thought was a good size for my partially amputated index finger. I should have bought the next-up size because what I bought was too tight to comfortably wear for more than 20 minutes. Other than sizing, quality was good.

Can't say enough good about these. My thumbs split open in the winter, bad enough that I use a prescription steroid cream. I was tired of fighting Band-Aids trying to get them to last more than a half hour on my thumbs. I tried this and wow works great! I wear this during the day when I risk splitting my thumb even more. Not only does this stay on all day but it also cushions my super tender thumbs!! These are well worth the price. Feel little funny at first but you get used to it. I have pretty wide knuckles and the large fit well. Took 2 days to heal my thumb when it would normally take upwards of a week!

Crazy but it works! I hate when the skin on my thumb splits at the tip. I got size large.. and worried it might be too big. I have small hands. The size was fine. As a matter of fact, it seemed tight at first... so I put it on by unrolling it just enough and not "pulling" it on as you would a rubber glove. I used it repeatedly this past winter. My skin was soft and soothed by morning. The skin takes time to heal. I found it made my finger actually feel better while wearing it.

I ordered two, only received one. The one we got has a rip in the finger tip. Not impressed at all.

I bought this to spare me from going through a full box of band-aids. I was facing one small spot of severely dry skin on my fingertip - cracking to the point of bleeding. Anyone who has had really dry skin knows it sucks. It sucks even more so when it's on your hands. Wash the dishes or just your hands and you have an even worse issue. My band-aid cure made it somewhat worse as they don't hold up to such activities so would be replaced often. After a few days in this thing, my skin is way better, nearly back to normal. The protection + gel pad with just a bit of lotion is like a miracle.My only complaint is with myself, I didn't buy the two pack. I am sure I will be using this a lot. It's perfect for keeping a troubled finger out of the way while crafting. Far more convenient than wearing gloves all of the time for one small patch of troubled skin.
