No support from Amazon, seller
My laptop's display stopped about 10 days back. It's in warranty period. And Amazon should enforce the warranty from the seller. Here I am left to fend for myself, at the mercy of the seller. The seller has stopped responding after initial enquiry. Will Amazon help me here?

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touchscreen LCD Ultrabook
The only catch is that it is not a touchscreen. I bought two units at the same time, got the machines, and fell in love with them, they are simply adorable. Was quite flustered that the notified "touchscreen" was missing. Felt really disappointed, but in the end, the sheer beauty of the machines that I got was enough to keep them despite the fact that the touchscreen was missing. If you've never held an X1 Carbon, you are missing holding a thing of beauty, of extreme craftsmanship.Of course, added was the fact that it was running Windows 11 Pro, has an i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and 512 GB SSD. It actually compares to a MacBook Pro... except that this is better because you can do stuff with it like you cannot with a Mac.If I had money, I would at least one more of these.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 for Business
Overall good experience. Touchpad is not so super responsive. Internal area near Touchpad was not clean when delivered. Working fine as of now except Touchpad.

Screen fell off within 4 weeks!
The media could not be loaded. This renewed laptop was working fine for about a month until the screen suddenly and literally fell off from the frame. As a result, the screen got cracked. When I contacted the retailer, they told me the crack was caused by me, and that I would have to pay for any repairs as the warranty did not cover this incident.I took the laptop to a local PC repair store for a second opinion, and they confirmed that the screen detached from the frame because the adhesive glue used to attach the screen was not strong enough!Never buying from this retailer again.

End of life product
The item arrived in good condition, and it was as advertised. It is what was not said that was the problem for me.Having physically received, what was basically a mail order item and examining it. Finding it to be an overpriced (2/5th’s (40%) of the most ambition R.R.P) ; 2018, end-of-life product, confirmed by Lenovo Vantage; I returned the product. Had it been advertised as this age, I would not have considered it.All these Market Place sellers, unlike Amazon, charge to have their products returned, if not suitable. A whopping £15 loss to me in this case.Would I use this Market Place seller, or any; really, again-NO.
