I Love This Value Imperial 50 x 60 Inch Ultra Soft Fleece Throw Blanket - Dark Green

A review by Mrs. L.--- I have purchased several of these in the past. They are thin, but thick enough to provide a nice soft, warm cover for chilly, but not cold evenings. I really, really liked them. They hold up well to repeated use and frequent washings.The reason for my one star rating today is that I ordered another one of these throws in a bright yellow. When I opened the package, the strong odor of something that smelled like methane, or sour, wet cloth permeated the room. It was horrible. It was like the throw had been in a wet environment for a long time and had dried in the plastic package. I put plastic gloves on and took it outside and hung it on a plant rack while I decided what to do about it. I haven't called the seller yet. I am concerned about under what conditions these throws are stored in the warehouse that they would get such a stench. Therefore, I just cannot get excited about a replacement. I don't think I want another one in my house given my experience. I also feel offended that a company would think so poorly of me as a customer that they would ship me something which has such an incredibly awful smell.

I love these blankets for our little shih Tzu, so much so, that I order many more in different colors so that she could have one in each of her beds throughout the house, in her pet stroller, on the sofa, etc. They're very, very soft, and she loves to fluff them up.

I have three cats that like to sleep on my lap. Usually it's one or two, but sometimes all three feel the need to use my lap as a bed. I needed something lightweight and comfortable to keep their claws from digging into my flesh. I ordered two blankets, one tan and one navy, so that I can use one while the other is being washed. These blankets are perfect! They'll keep my legs from being scratched while my beloved kitties take their naps ❤️

The perfect size and lightweight for the plane, now that we can travel again!

This was cheaper than buying a yard of similar quality fleece, and I used it for a project rather than as a blanket. It arrived in perfect condition, and is truly lightweight, so would be good for traveling and doesn't take up much room while folded up. Unlike some other higher quality fleeces, despite the amount I've handled it, it hasn't pilled or fuzzed up, which was unexpected. I ordered purple, and it was true to picture. That being said, I wouldn't give this as a gift, as it looks too cheap and isn't quite as soft as nicer quality fleece blankets.

Thin but warm

I bought it as a cheap blanket for my dog to use instead of my nice blankets, after washing it it's still really soft and is perfect! Now I want to buy more for me to use and not just for my pup lol. I definitely recommend washing the blanket before you use it, it leaves fuzzies literally ALL over the place, but I mean it's a brand new fleece blanket what do you expect? I purchased this in the middle of moving and knew if i put it in the wash I'd probably forget about it and leave it there with everything else going on haha. Once I got to my new place I threw it in with the first wash and absolutely love it! Also very impressed with how it held up in the wash since this was so cheap.

i purchased this with the intent of making 4 smaller cat blankets as our kitties love them. it was less expensive to buy this throw than to by fabric from my sewing resource. it's very soft & a pretty shade of blue. that being said, the overcast stitching around the edges came apart when i pre-washed on gentle before starting my project. also, the non-fabric tag was sewn into the binding and removing it meant cutting the stitching. because this didn't matter to my project i was ok with it but it might matter to someone else!
