Excellent basic player⚠️No resume play feature.
Love the handle which allows me to transport this player from place to place securely. The small screen works well when viewing on your lap and has a crisp picture. 2.5 hr battery life gets you through most movies and provides a good excuse to get up and move for longer sessions. Intuitive controls. The 🔈sound was tinny when I first started but improved dramatically as the player warmed up. ⚠️Unfortunately if you hit stop for an interruption this does NOT have last memory recall and you will have to start over from the beginning and find the spot you left off from. This is a deal breaker for what I wanted. I have some very long seminar DVDs without break markers that are exceedingly difficult to navigate and the lack of ability to resume play from where I left off leaves me looking for another player. Otherwise it is a good compact player to watch a movie while you wait 2 hrs in a waiting room or location with poor internet signal.

Good for home use but not in the car
We bought this hoping to using it to listen to audio books when we travel by automobile. Our new vehicle doesn't have a CD player as did our former vehicle. Although a jack that plugs into the cigarette lighter was provided, it doesn't work. The unit works well by being plugged in to an electrical outlet or charged in the home. The 2.5 hour charge won't work on the long road trips for which we had hoped to use it. We haven't been able to find a solution except to buy a subscription to audible or other similar plan but that doesn't allow us to use the audio books we've already purchased.

Portable and the handle is a nice touch.
Beautiful color (red) compact and sound quality is great even while driving over rough roads.
